My current racket is a Dunlop Biomimetic Power 2300 stringed with black knight .66 at 28 ibs and is 2 months old. Now my gf recently gifted me with a yonex bg 66 ultimax and Im wondering if it would fit my current racket or should I upgrade to another one? Im thinking of just cutting the current string and restringing it with bg 66 ult at 30 ibs so that the string's performance would be given justice. I play doubles advance and mostly a front player but also a deliberate smasher. I need suggestions because I have an upcoming tournament on november. Thank you for your comments and responses in advance! God bless

Dunlops arent good rackets? Should I upgrade now? My worries is I might adjust a little too late on a new racket

Strings are frail at such tensions. Racket can take 30lbs. But...

if warrantied tension is less.....it may or may not deform and collapse.
