I think this would make an interesting PhD for someone. Take a set of people of different abilities, ages, and body types. Do both blind racket and named racket experiments across different racket types and price ranges. Guage their immediate and long term reactions over time and measure the difference in the speed of accuracy of their strokes. Probably still wouldn't give enough satisfactory answers though.
