badminton partner around BIRMINGHAM

im doing singles, maybe doubles if i can convince my doubles partner to play..i dont know whether to enter the social one or the tournament/league standard one. I think i will enter social.

i think it has to be league / tornament. Think I may get a good thrashing though! Have u neva played in leagues before then?

 

I have played in leagues before but my friend who played in leagues as well entered last year and suggested that i should join the social one because he got thrashed last year : s

lol.. but i hope it will be competitive, i dont want it to be too easy :/ i just recieved my entry letter today.. my first match is at 9.45am on sat! haha

nope no confirmation letter.

I did leave it a bit late to be honest. il give them a ring next week if it doesnt turn up.

I have a feeling i may get thrashed. should be a laugh tho!

Sounds very exciting re this badminton bonaza.
Can any one with experience of attending this banaza let me know what is involve and available on the two days?

I might bring my son there to see but could do with knowing what is there and the time it start/open

Is it suitable to bring children or is it just badminton competition?

How is the entry..can i just drop in to the badminton hall..or do i need to make payment outside? can i just join any group playing..is it okay if you can give me your contacts..
