I agree, China's chance for wining is over 50%, but this is the best chance to win China that Japan has.

    Momota
    Akane
    Fuku/Hiro
    Kam/Son
    Yuta/Arisa

That is the team I will choose because I trust them can win.

what we say here is useless, let PJB choose :p

But China is very good at making strategies.
Hopefully PJB can develop the right strategy for Japan, please do not be too confident.

Do we already know the list of players facing Malaysia tomorrow?

Please tell me we are going to see some Momota action.

    What about Okuhara?

Yeah, I think JPN can win without the need of playing XD.

As an optimist, I see Arisa's injury is a good thing for her. She doesn't dare to jump-jump-jump after losing a point. ^-^

What? That's very rude. Of course, I believe in NO. It's JPN MD that may in trouble.

Looking at the current situation, I realize that JPN is not the most favorite one in SC. If we compare these two SF matches tomorrow, CHN team has easier opponent than JPN team. Also, CHN team will play first. This means, the winner from JPN vs INA match will be likely less fitter than CHN team. JPN team has to plan carefully if JPN team wants to win the first ever title.

    Indonesia is a tough task.

    MD - Gideon/Kevin or Ahsan/Setiawan - Japan out

    WD - Polii/Rahayu - very tough

MS - Ginting or Christie - KM will prevail as per stats and as per expectations

XD - Jordan/Octavianti - Might be tough for Wonderkid and Higashino

    WS - Japan prevail.

So the SF will be tough!!!

Hmmm, interesting prediction. In contrast, I and some other Indonesians find it difficult to tackle JPN team.

I initially thought Japan was in final. Then I realised that the Kevins, the Ahsan, the Gintings, Christies ... all of these monsters are in Indonesia. And I was like euhmm ... forget China for now.

IND is the favourite for MD, but I wouldn't rule out a JPN victory.

The minions have a few losses against JPN pairs:
WataEndo in the last BAC finals, SonoKamu at the Singapore Open and the last World Championships.
But it may not be the minions playing.

For all other categories, JPN is the favourite, but it doesn't mean it will be easy.
And the difficulty for PJB is to plan for the finals as well,
taking into account that they would have much less rest than CHN.
I presume it would rule out double duty for Watanabe today,
    but maybe not tomorrow.

^-^ Look at the schedule, I just wish Japan lost to Thailand two days ago, so Japan can meet China in semi-final.

No, no! Beating the Chinese team at the Finals in front of the home crowd is the most emphatic way to win. I know the odds are stacked against them, but Nippon, Fight!! Ganbare!!

Minions like fast conditions just like KamuSono but we might see Ahsan/Setiawan in the MD. These guys will be far more dangerous in slow conditions. Especially Setiawan. And have you seen the smashes of Sonoda yesterday? I mean it was weak.

If Watanabe plays MD then he'll be done for in XD and we still have tmr! Aside WataHiga I don't see the other JPN XD pair taking on Jordan/Octa.

It is tighter for JPN than it looks. I wouldn't say they are the clear favourites.

Thinking of China is even more of a nightmare.

Who decides on order of event? MS WS MD XD WD?
