Someone tell Ohori that the shuttlecock hasn't reach the court on opponent's side, she hasn't win the point yet.

Many times she stay in front (near) the net, smash and think that it is done, then she stopped, although the really was still on, and she lost the point just because she didn't follow up the shuttlecock.

Ohori should learn how Momota deal with "block shot" in stead of complaining to umpire (100% you can't take the point, the decision will never change)

Ohori always smashes with 100% power in these kinds of situation (she think she has 100% to take the the point right after the smash and don't care what her opponent is able to do)

And I think Okuhara was right in this situation, the block shot is still on Okuhara side, so that, the umpire war right too

Aya Ohori gave the hardest time to CHEN Yufei, compared to Okuhara and Tai Tzu Ying. If she trains hard, she can become a new WS champion.

the only thing she need to train is "mentality", she has everything to become a star.

"Left-handed" like Lin Dan/Momota, good height, slim body (fast and good stamina) ... but mental weakness, bad attitude on court. (look at Okuhara, she always enjoys the match)

...and her mental strength is measured in units of Axelsen.

Just watched the match between Ohori and Ho Yen Mei. Ohori played as fast as she can, and hasn't known how to play single yet.

Smash and smash and smash in the whole match to score the point is not the best way. Sometimes you take the point, sometimes you lose the point and your opponent still have full of stamina to strike back.

In this situation, I think Japan should choose Takahashi to ensure a win for WS

With Okuhara/Yamaguchi match, we can see amazing drop shot which can score the point immediately but with Ohori's game, I rarely see that thing.

Ohori is flying so high with Nanoflare 700. If Ohori can go to final this tournament, it would be a statement to Okuhara/Yamaguchi that they are not alone on the road to Olympic ^-^

Not an easy task but she improved her game lately! Everything is possible I guess even though it seems tough to get a spot considering how AY and NO are still a notch above Ohori.

It's Wang Zhiyi, and maybe Zheng Beiwen in semi-final. A easiest task in the world. ^-^

It she cannot get in final this tournament, then forget about Olympic 2020.

Realistically an injury to either AY or NO would be her only chance. Sad but true, IMO. They both are still a few notches above her. Her physicality needs more work.
