Bad luck indeed. Another Quarter Final finish for them.

The mighty Lin Dan cruises into the next round by making it look easy in 2 straight sets. Hope to see some great badminton from him in this tournament.

Yes, I can say most of these old pairs like Ahmad/Natsir and Nielsen/Pedersen, they need some kind of luck to go far or win the tournaments (well just like any luck we need in badminton i guess because its a zero sum game). Look at NielPed, they got knocked out in 1stRound again . Out of all, they met the Chinese pair who are young and physical, so its difficult.

Remind me of how lucky Ahmad/Natsir when they won in the 1st Round against Kim/Kim last week when they were trailing 17-18 in the 3rd and the shuttle was called in when it was 100% out. Otherwise it would have been 2 1st Round exit for INA pair. Sometimes, just that little thing or the draws. They can always play 1 or 2 good matches. but not 5 matches against physical opponents.

and for the young pairs, they certainly wouldnt want to meet the ChinesePair in XD. They are so dominating.

Surprised that H.Yuxiang managed to overcome T.C Chou, the no.6 seed. Has he improved or a bad game by CTC? Certainly they both made a few unforced errors. I think CTC didn't expect such a stiff resistance and couldn't muster enough to turn the game around. Well done HY.

Goodbye so soon from the World No.4
Not consistent enough to win in two sets.

Ginting and Jojo manage to beat a higher ranked player, JOJ and Hu Yun respectively. But they have to meet CL and LD tomorrow. Wow what a tough tournament for them.

Unfortunately, matters cooking on Court 3 can't be speculated due to BWF's poor coverage.

Wow...Lee Hyun Il has still got game...

Less experienced players might be rattled after a string of errors in the home stretch but LHI with nerves of steel to score 6 straight and close out G3.
