I am not a CL fan but IMHO one does not become a WC, Olympics, AE champion and win SS titles without a certain level of ability, skill, and experience.

Assuming if "a lesser toll" is taken on SK and he won with a score of 21-3, 21-4, it would be likely that he is playing against a super off-form CL, if you know what i mean

Nonetheless, not to take anything away from SK, he has been playing really well, especially since the Indonesia Open. As said earlier, well deserved win today. :)

Srikanth won 2nd consecutive SS tournament and his 3rd consecutive finals.
Even Saina and Sindhu probably don't have such records.
    &
Did India just win their 3rd consecutive MS title at SS level?
    Wow!
I never thought this day would come.

Wow...I didn't think I'd find a player more annoying to watch than Chen Qing Chen...but that Japanese moustache guy takes the cake.

Lol! They are very much a "vocal & expressive" pair. But I thought their play is more aggressive and attacking compared endo/hayakawa.

Shsss.. If Japan won 3 titles, its better that China won 3 titles. I thought Japan only know how to kill people.

If u see Japan is polite like okuhara i bet if you see sonoda there is nothing polite about them. annoying. thats their true character.

When you are really good, people can see it even though they don't say much, no need to pick a quarrel with others who expressed some related but understated or alternative views . And don't be so small-minded and petty as to take offence that others are not giving the high praises that you expect. What is truly deserving will come in good time because you earn it , not demand it. As we all know, flattery is insincere praise, so is excessive praise, just as bad.

When even reasonable excuses are not tolerated, not to mention criticisms, it only shows how overbearing, haughty and supercilious you are. Be broadminded and magnanimous both in victory and defeat.

Chen Qingchen has been doing double duty practically every tournament, often back-to-back. How long can her young 20-year-old body hold before it begins to take a tool on her ?

Wonder when CQC will start to feel weary playing so many tournaments non-stop.

Chen Qingchen looks to be a self-demanding person

CQC's soft touches at the net area are being read by the opponents

The points come and go so fast in MD and XD doubles, more than in WD which tends to have longer rallies

Lol guys why even bother to read those "valid" (ROFL) excuses, reasons, "justifications" from the "self appointed advocates/pandits/fan boys" needless to mention waste a minute or two to feel pity if not anger on their deemed eyesight or rather I should say "visionary ever-evaluating supervision" habits.

Nobody as blind as those who doesn't see or witness when or if the player is prepared by completing his homework and outdoes his illustrious opponent.
Saying a word or two, which in turn would be futile to extinguish the illusionary blind Faith, is just waste of energy.

For me, XD and MD are more interesting to watch than WD which I find a bit boring at times.

To mention that these events are warmups for the Chinese is belittling the achievements of others by the few self declared badminton know alls.
Chen Long is a very good player . But not as good as some Chinese braggers.

Indian MS have announced their arrival on the world stage! People are welcome to turn a blind eye and focus on the big 3 and others. We are not saying Indian players are winning because they are better. Indian players now have self belief, better endurance levels, good fitness, good strategies and patience. Being able to consistently put top players under pressure, not allowing them to play to their strengths and forcing them to make mistakes. Each year Indian singles will get better, you are free to look the other way! :)
