What rubbish is this? Mongolia and Nepal will enter quarterfinals and KOR and MAS will battle it out for one spot!!! Didn't know badminton exists in Mongolia or Nepal!

The organizer mistook Mongolia for Malaysia and placed them in the wrong quartet.

    Very likely.
And IND almost grouped with INA.

Malaysia will likely go through and meet INA in quarters with their strength in all 3 singles versus KOR but this is not fair for KOR as the bottom half Mongolia and Nepal know nothing about badminton! The top asian countries (CHN, INA, MAS, JPN, THA, TPE, KOR, IND) should go through the quarters and not minnows. This is not how badminton supposed to be played. Does not make sense as Gengis Khan is long dead and the buddhist monasteries in Kathmandu favour tourism more than sports!

“When tomorrow comes”, I can’t wait to see the streams, :)
for me the certs are WS (ASY) and WD (Chen & Jia), the rest is unpredictable.

There’s been a total mainstream media block on the existence of the games here,
got snippets from internet only, interesting to find there’s more participants in these games than Olympics,
I don’t see how that can be so.

my prediction is china, india, japan and indonesia for semi finals. Anyone can win it if on form on the day itself. ;)

Oh, there have been debates on AG if it is a major tournament. My personal belief is NO. Coz you cannot leave out Denmark, UK or France. It needs to be inclusive of all countries to be a Major event. No discrimination. ;)

Didn’t catch the opening ceremony but wanted to know did you feel it’s better than 2008 Beijing Opening ceremony. For me, nothing tops that as of now. China really knows how to impress the world and show their might.

What a luck man, I don’t know what to feel. Never had this kind of lucky draw. It feels like a joke tbh.

Agreed, Beijing 2008 still edge it with the sheer scale of organisation and spectacle it was,
but I feel the use of CGI technology and how the integration with real time performers was top notch,
add the lasers and light show, very well done, smaller than Beijing but sparkled more,
