    Re: KDM

I totally agree with you cooler. You think he has a lot of maintenance for that body??!!....:p
IMO, I think KDM's smashes are the best looking. No matter technique, style, or speed.

Did you see his hair at Swiss Open?....lol.... I think he gels his hair whenever he plays.:p

    Thanks cooler.

KDM IMO has a body inbetween the 2, but more towards that of the Singles player. To play Mixed doubles effectively u need to be a decent singles player.

U cant have a body like Halim and expect to play Mixed amzingly well. If u see most Mixed doubles players will be have a body more like singles player than a Men's doubles player.

KDM is no exception. Even though KDm is great in his own rite, He still plays secod fiddle to his partner when it comes to smashing. He is way better at the net and at drives than his partner.

Defece and net play are prob the most important aspect of a doubles game. Smashing is more or less at par for plp at the international level.

i agree about the net play part, but defense is generally the thing you don't want to be doing in doubles..

it's already quite good that u can bench above ur own weight.
but u cant be HUGE in badminton, u must be flexible and quick...bulkiness wont get u anywhere.

    This is sooooo funny....

Maybe it's because I'm a girl reading this, or just because the way the direction of the thread was going..do you know how FUNNY and SILLY you guys sound? *shakes head* Flexing your muscles in a badminton forum...*giggle*

also funny is how you have guys talking about other guy's hairstyle... there's just something not right about that..*innocent look* I mean it's like you guys are oozing tetesterone (sp?) on one hand with how much you can bench press, and the next minute, you are wondering whether it's gel or sweat that made the guy's hair look soooo goood...*laugh* :p CLASSIC! :)

Please don't take this the wrong way..but you guys are all sooooo cuddly cute! Ok, 3,2,1 PUKE! :D
