someone is very happy now....uhuhuhuhuhu....hahahaha....wat was ur reaction that time?hahaha..i can imagine that
that call was proven to inspire Rian's confidence to play well . and what happened next.. he won the tourney
Hmm, well.. ..i think he might've gotten a bit excited, so excited that he accidentally pressed the wrong button no. to call...By the time yannie picked up the phone, he *would not* dare to hang up the phone..or else (grill time?!?!)..hehe
there we go again... that should have been a private message but being broadcasted in a forum for all to see....
No no no.. He called twice before I picked up.. It's very normal to call friends you haven't seen for a while, isn't it?? No matter where they are in the world.. Anyway, back to Indonesia Challenge.. Congratz Rian/Yoke!!!!! You guys are great!!! Next target: Chinese Taipei Open Winner *ha
Yeah congrats!!! OMG their rank will shoot up like crazy!! Soon can compete in Super Series *pray* They're coming for Malaysia Satellite or not *wf
How many points do they earn from Indo Satellite? Anyone knows??? Yup, can compete in Super Series soon.. Hehehe.. So Djarum's choice of partnership is correct. Aiya, I know.. Well, it just shows that he is a nice FRIEND.
I am in Surabaya today. But don't know where Rian is staying. I don't see him around here. I did see him on the court yesterday and today where he won his semifinal match and his final match decisively. At one point in the semifinal game, he returned a smash between his legs. That was awesome! Today he defeated Fran Kurniawan-Ade Lukas. The rallies were attractive, but the combo of Yoke's unpredictable shot selection and Rian's dependable 'almost without error' game defused [and later dominated] the powerful plays of Fran-Ade... The Yoke-Rian duo was focused and valiant in the past 2 days... No signs of fear or hesitation [that normally plague young pairs]... What's next for Rian-Yoke? Any guess/prediction?
This Indonesia Challenge is a 4a BWF tournament [International Challenge]. The winner gets 4000 ranking points.
yannie, remember last time he lost 21-5? We grilled him rite? Hajar!! *ha He really learnt from our lesson. He's starting to win title with new partner now Rian is a good friend, unlike someone we need to fry..
Rain/Yoke still have long way to go for challenging top MD pair or even their compatriots MK/HS... Hopes they won't get carried away by the success in INA challenge in which W/O the presence of any top ten's pair !
U should know the best right I think they WILL BE playing in Taipei and Macau GP Gold. 2nd round and QF placements should see them climb further. As for European events, I suspect Dutch Open (with a chance of winning it like Rian/Eng Hian did last year)? The remaining events could be Korea Challenge (since u mentioned abt Djarum sending their players there and a good chance of a title too ), probably the Vietnam Open (a good shot too) and the Russian GP Gold (given that Djarum has sent players to Brazil and Hungaria, Russia will be no problem ). My prediction is they should win two or more titles in the remaining events they participate in (Korea Challenge and Dutch Open being the targets).
They WON'T even be participating in the remaining SS, so, any chance of matching the top 10 pairs will come next year.
I DOUBT so...the earliest possible SS event that Rian/Yoke could participate in should be the Malaysia and Korea SS in January 2008.
Of course remember.. Suicide. We bullied him till he said "Saya give up".. And they all kept saying "Erin and Yannie wuek" *ha Yeah, friendly unlike that someone we need to fry into fried chicken. Hajar! Okokokokokokokokok. Never mind.
