I came across this infographic today http://www.aesmphysiotherapytoronto.ca/youngest-oldest-olympic-gold-medalists/. It shows a list of young and old Olympic gold medalists. They don't seem to have details on badminton. Any idea on who is the youngest and oldest gold medalists for badminton?
Both happened in 2008. Zhang Ning became the oldest at age 33 and Lee Yong Dae became the first 'teenager' by winning less than a month before his 20th birthday. This year, Lee Chong Wei could have surpassed Zhang if he'd won the final. In contrast, the only teenager in Rio wasn't even really close to the other record.
