hi everyone!
I've been lurking for a bit here and decided to finally register.
I'm an american who lives in China and I recently have started playing badminton. yes, I'm american which means I knew nothing about it and actually I lived in China for almost 6 years before picking it up. And yes, I was miserable at it.
But then I really started falling in love with it, and I recently got a chinese coach and now I'm really pushing myself. I play two times a week with my club, and once a week with my coach. I'm hoping soon that I'll be good enough to start entering competitions. My favorite being mixed doubles.
I also started a blog recently about a newbie learning badminton in America if you wanna check it out. I really knew nothing just a few short months ago, so I'm learning a lot of things as I go and writing about it. So try not to laugh too hard.

Anyway, nice to finally be a member and I'll try to talk more and not be such a lurker.
