    Wei/Zhao beat Chin/Wong : 17-15 / 15-8.

    Chin/Wong has a big comfortable lead in the first game, but unfornately they didn't capitalize on it but instead let Wei/Zhao inching back point by point. that may be due to lack of experience.

    the scores for the Prapakamol/Thungthongkam/Zhang/Gao match is still listed as Now/active in the live scoreboard. usually when a match finishes, it gets moved to the Completed Match column. perhaps even the scorekeeper isn't believing what he/she is seeing.

    Wow, IMO, this must be the biggest upset of the tourney, more so than PGade's lost. If I'm not mistaken, Zhang/Gao has been on a tear lately, winning or at least being in the Finals the last 2-3 of their tournaments. Gao must be really feeling it, esp. on her legs, playing all out the last several matches(incl. the German Open). Too bad for her and Zhang Jun.
    On another note, it seemed like the Thais really took advantage, probably they were aiming at Gao Ling and making her work more than ZJ. Esp. with a straight sets victory, doesn't happen often to Gao/Zhang.
    With Zhang/Gao out of the mixed, and not to count the other 2 pairs out, it looks more and more like the XD Final will be between England vs. Indonesia. If that happens, that should be one heck of a Final..:).

    BTW, what's up with all the late night finishes. It's already past 12 pm in England and they're still playing?? Did they purposely started late to accommodate people coming back from work??..If anyone remembers, was last year's AE started and ended about the same time as this year's AE also??..

    Anyway, should be one heck of a Semi-Finals day...:).

    Learn to be humble

    I personally agree with u Morten,this fella need to be taught a lesson...Its not about the skills or confident he has thats nothing wrong,but its about his respect to his opponent and the game.Now that Lee HI cant teach him a lesson lets see whether Wong CH can teach him :D
    Whats the head to head record between WCH and LD??

    Hehe, Lin dan is kinda like a zhao Jianhua. But if you remember in the 1991 JP open, ZJH lost to Ardy Wirnata and was definately taught a lesson.

    I think there is a difference here. ZJH really is technically superior to
    his opponents. However Lin Dan is not. Hehe.

    :crying::crying: Zhang/Gao lost !!!! No Chinese in Semifinal XD.:crying:

    ANyway, there are still Chinese players in other 4 matches except XD. For sure, ladies singles and doubles will be won by them. I hope Cai/Fu will do the best and I think Lin Dan will have the biggest chance to win this AE 2005. He is very talented player....and in my opinion he's also a good sportsman...so go LIN DAN !!!! :)
