Recently, I've had the pleasure (or luck) to meet some canadians who play badminton. Although it's a small sample, if the conversation turns to BC, it seems that everyone of them has come to the website (with the exception of one). In fact, the last guy I just met said "Of course I've heard of badmintoncentral!!" in a rather indignant tone when I asked.....LOL. Sounds like I got owned :crying:...........
I'm pretty sure most Canadians and Americans have stumbled upon BC on time in their lives while searching for anything badminton related. This forum would usually be one of the things that pop up. How many actually use this site constantly or come on to post would be a different story though.
Not all (as I have friends who don't visit the site). But I read up on everything and tell them about it. So I'm the guru now (to them) on all things badminton related.
I met a person from Malaysia last night. I decided to ask him about BC and whether he had heard of it... Ans: "Of course!"
i was hanging out at the players' area during the 2007 HK Open. Greysia Polli was sitting next to me so i started chatting with her. when i intro myself, she said, "oh, so *you* are kwun from badminton central"
The question should be how much of the Chinese/Malaysian/Indonesian badminton community know about this place
