I am with you, I still think that LD will win this time, even though he may get real challenges from LHI and then either TH or LCW in the final. We'll see ... if he wins, it's a well deserved win ... :)

Very extra happy on KKK/TBH's performance. Straight wins against the koreans and the chinese. Although the time is still to0 early to be heaping our high hopes on them.

The malaysian WD looks like losing already. 14-21, 12-16 currently

Unfortunately for malaysian badminton, CEH/WPT lost 14-21,12-21. So, LCW, KKK/TBH and the XD pair left in our challenge.

I think WPT had no energy already, playing 3 matches in 1 day. The first 2 matches came to rubber sets. Hope she can recover and give Gao Ling/Zheng Bo a tough fight.

The JPN cute girls are really on form this Asian Games, having also beaten TPE 4th seeds twice in the team and individual competitions. Professor Park's guidance is working now.

KKK also played as many games as WPT, but didn't stay on court long in his XD loss.

Well..well...I didn't stay up because I was super tired, coming back from Auckland tonight.

But, it certainly was good performances from the MD pairs and some upsets. My dream was realized as Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan will now face Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong. The INA no 1 pair beat the Indian pair in 3 sets, which was similar to the result in the group stage. It's good to see the Malaysian pair beating Fu Haifeng/Cai Yun in 2 sets. As I said before, I wouldn't want to endure another nerve-wrecking tie against the Chinese pair. I am quietly confident that Kido/Hendra will beat KKK/TBH (probably in 3 sets) as they have very good record against Malaysian pairs lately.

As for Luluk Hadiyanto/Alvent Yulianto, a bronze medal for them is already a bonus as they finally beat Guo Zhendong/Zheng Bo, despite losing the first set 15-21. Have they now waken up? The chance against Jung Jae Sung/Lee Yong Dae is 50-50 and I hope they perform again today. It will be great to end the year with an all-INA Final.

I didn't harbour much hope for the WD pair Lita Nurlita/Vita Marissa. They have already surprised me in beating Saralee Thoungthongkam/Sathinee Jankajangwong earlier. The fact that they stole the second set from the experienced Chinese pair (something INA pair probably hasn't managed to achieve in years) was really encouraging. They also managed to push the Chinese to work hard in the third set, till it was 17-18, before the Chinese wrapped it up by nabbing 3 consecutive points.

So, we still have hope to win 2 Golds as expected...but...realistically, only the MD could probably deliver  I still think Taufik will lose to Lin Dan, if both players win today.

Well...but now we can use record to determine which player will win coz...It all depends on the players themselves...May the best player win...
