But Korea already play the best team ever considering they only had one good MS (LHI) and one MD. (Jung/Lee)

THe rest is kind of so-so players or pairs.

Congrats both China and Korea team.

The remaining question is who will win individual MS? Cause every first MS in lost at least once or twice in team event.

So 5 people had the same chances now, LD, LHI, BCL, TH and LCW. With LCW had the easiest draw considering Boonsak injured.

Kor beat Mas in SF yesterday by 3-1. They won MS1, MD1 and MD2 and lost MS2.

Good job Korea, consider them as the only team that score two points off China! Way to go!

also congrats China for winning the Gold!

Great stable play by LHI. I detected as if LD gave up in the last few points, but credit to LHI esp in 1st game, coming back from 3 pts down to take the set. We can now admit LHI in the company of the few non-Chinese players to have downed LD. (Taufik, LCW, Ronald Susilo, Gade).

At the same time, Korea blew the chance to win this tie in 1st doubles. 2/3rds of the 1st game, they were really giving Cai/Fu lots of headaches, yet here is the problem of the Korean pair. They lead by 4-5 pts on several occasions, only to give 5 pts back.

Lee Yong Dae may be a new Professor Park Joo Bong in the making, but he was made to look novice. I counted at least 3 times in a single set that he got caught out with the flick serve.

I expected 2nd doubles to go Korean way, since Chinese paired Zheng Bo with GW. Wonder why not Xie Zhongbo, 'cos this pair would have been dangerous.

Coach Tan Kim Her must be disappointed to come so close.

Lastly, Bao looked very sharp last night, much better than LD. Yeah, he could end up winning the gold and not LD, LCW or TH.

WoW, one of most thrilling show in Men's Team final! The superb performance showed by KOR squad, mighty CHN must hold their breath until last match when BCL freezed Athens O-Silver Medalist ShonSM w/convincing score...Really excited to watch from beginning to the end whoever the winner!

Credit to LeeHI who made the Chinese ace frustration successfully w/ LD's series of unforced-errors in 3rd game. Probably LD has got over-confidence syndrome and underestimate the Korean because he has defeated TH 2 times in 3 days as his hardest opponent. It's anticlimatic action from LD here when he failed to contribute one point for CHN's victory at urgent moment!

Salute for CHN's solid team and surprising KOR's fighting spirit, Congratz!

This is not the first time Lee Hyun Il has beaten Lin dan. In fact, Lin used to lose to him a few years ago and said that Lee's gameplay is the type that he has the most difficulty playing against. But as we all know for the past two years, Lin has won all their encounters, that is until yesterday. Lin probably thought he had Lee all figured out by now and that this should be their "usual" medium difficulty game, unfortunately for him Lee turned out more resilient than ever.
If they do meet each other again in the individual, I wouldn't bet on Lee though...Lin has a habit of getting revenge for his losses lol

There are plenty new tricks and skills in LHI. He hided so long to develop some secret weapons, but LD just didn't listen to me. :D
