Hi Guys, This is Ben Malaysian members from Uk, badminton addicted since 2013(3-4times a week) and currently compete in middlesex and hammersmith league. I am thinking of becoming a shuttlecock supplier in UK specialist in lease known/underestimate but quality brand, looking to start with 1-2 brands and then add a few more brands later. After months of research I decided to start with Aeroplane and Youhe. Received the samples from both of them today(paid £180 for 2 boxes express shipping which supposed to be delivered on last week friday but UPS messed up) cant wait to give them a try, will post the reviews later after i tried them out. Will be really appreciated if you have have any opinion about these 2 brands or recommendation of other quality brand.
EG1130 black with pointy feathers is the best value for money imo and is what we use. Durable and feels solid. Only issue is the flight is not as good as AS50. It's initial speed is fine but slows down faster.
Test result aeroplane green g1130 lasted 1 full intense game, feather hard to break. slowed down a little towards the end of the game. nice and solid, will be a very good value for club session shuttlecock. Are you of the same opinion now in 2020? I see the Greens are about 20% cheaper than the Blacks, so might give that one a go. I have used Black in the past and it's on the slow side. Is it actually possible to order the Aeroplane in speed 52?
You can try two brands RCL Black Gold and Black Silver and Sealion CG1101G. They are durable shuttlecocks used in Malaysian and par with RSL Supreme and Yonex AS 30. If you want to buy samples to test, I can ship it to you. I am supplying various brands of shuttlecocks for Malaysia market.
