Next time, don't sleep in addition to not going out for lunch.

It's not that terrible for Malaysia in the MD. Choong/Chew are a scratch pair and had to face the in-form Cai/Fu in their first match. Tan/Ong are ok but were not good enough to beat Eriksen/Lundgaard, the world no 1. The only disappointment is Chan/Koo but they haven't really proved themselves much anyway, so expectation for them were not high to start with. So overall, the Malaysian MD performed to expectation, more or less.

Meanwhile, KJ and PG had high expectations piled on them, so their early ousters have to be very disappointing. But then again, that is the nature of the game nowadays.

Is that why Roslin used to lose in ealry rounds when he couldnt beat the other players then?:)

It is one way of training, but you have to beat everyone to win. Chen hong is easy from a tactical point of view to play, but difficult from the sheer quality of shot he plays (in short predictably but sublime) Lin has completley different chracteristics, less quality in his skills/technique, but more variety and faster.
