I meant that not many stores carry the shoe, there are plenty of Canadian online dealers though. I live in the GTA area.
I don't like ordering shoes online, as I need to try the shoe out first to see the fit of it. Racquets and stuff I'm fine, but if the shoe doesn't fit once it's shipped, it's a pain to ship it back and try and get a better size.
thats right. i went to a shop, and checked the shoe carefully, now i will order online. the local shop sells the shoe fror 120€ whiel i get it for 80€ in an online shop.
I don't think I'll ever get another pair of stabil for as cheap as I got my 6 pair. ($27 CAD is about 17 euros i believe)
You know what, I went to every sporting good shop I know in my neighborhood yesterday and couldn't find anymore Court Stabil shoes...sale or not! I tried almost every other shoe within the price range of a brand new Court Stabil shoe, and I must say none of them were as impressive, not even the Yonex shoes! Now I'm in a huge dilemna as to where I'm going to get my next pair. I notice in E-bay Germany there are many online sellers and just may have to gamble and purchase a pair online someday. I was lucky to have purchased my stabil shoes for MYR149 (approx. US40) and now I'm spoilt because I'll never find as good a shoe for that price. Any help on recommending online dealers guys? Thanks!
Dude! Did u have any luck looking for some shoes? I am also an owner of Adidas Stabil court shoes and they are great. I have been shopping around all over KL dor another pair but have not had any luck. But I do believe they are easier to come by in Singapore. I'll attach pictures of 2 other models which I really like and hope that u are able to spot them there and let me know.
Adidas Superlights and Adidas Lightster If anyone can find them in Singapore please post here!!! Thank u!
Got it at the concourse at The Curve when they were having close-out sale. But if you're a lucky SIZE 9 UK then there's a pair available at the Adidas store in Berjaya Times Square for RM119!!!! I put it on hold but I kinda already knew it wouldn't fit me.:crying: Good luck. Text me later at 019 692 7237 for the tel no there. I don't have it with me now. You can call to see if they're still there. I put it on hold 2 days ago. I guarantee, u try these on and u try the other Yonex or whatever shoes out there, u will love these.
Adidas top modulator i just bought these shoes thru ebay an hour ago...they're actually high end volleyball shoes but is suitable for any indoor activity....these kicks have a rather unique design...hope it will serve me well as badminton shoes have a look http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Adidas-Top-Mo...oryZ1262QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem
In general I find Adidas' indoor shoes very good for badminton. I've used their Samba Millennium futsal shoe for two years of badminon play. Up to the point where the soles sheared themselves off their uppers, they were pretty good. My best ever badminton shoe was the original Adidas Stratos from 3 years ago. I got the women's model by mistake, but even so it was an unstoppable shoe. I wore down the gum sole to the point that it slips in the wet, but everything else on the shoe is still good after 2.5 years.
You could get it at Sportslink located at Queensway Shopping Centre Level 1, Singapore. Infact, there are more models for your selection. A great shoe indeed.
I still remember my Adidas Stratos from 2005. That was such a great shoe, not to mention tough as nails. I had to retire it after 2.5 years because I had worn down the sole so much that all the grooves had erased themselves, but everything else on the shoe was still largely intact. Unfortunately, where I live, there isn't much of a badminton lineup from Adidas nowadays. As for Nike...their shoes are few and far between.
Just got a pair of Stabil 2 as a gift last week, so i'll see if i like them better than the Yonex. And i hope they last me longer ! i use to buy 2-3 pairs of SHB-99 a year...
