Hendra A. Gunawan/Alvent Yulianto Chandra win their first match of 2010 quite comfortably over Kenta Kazuno/Kenichi Hayakawa 21-15, 21-13.

Up next will be Songphon Anugrityawon/Sudket Prapakamol, which should be a winnable match too.

I think AG/Alvent are definitely capable of reaching at least SF and are likely to face a tricky match against Fang Chieh-Min/Lee Sheng-Mu in the QF.

Meanwhile, Flandy Limpele/Cheng Wen-Hsing progress after a 3-sets battle over Kenta Kazuno/Reika Kakiiwa and will face Fang Chieh-Min/Wang Pei Rong tomorrow.

CY/FHF on court. I support them. Go.

LCW did quite well. 21-4; 21-14. Guess his knee is okay now. ;)

So far not a lot of major suprises for first day.

Sure TJM/ZYW win over LYD/LHJ. BUt as we all know, Zhang Ya Wen is one of the best women and mix doubles players right now. So even with a new partner, she can beat any pairs.

A little suprise when Salakjit lost to new Korean player. But as we all know Salakjit lack consistency. Not a major suprise.

Fang/Wang had good results in near end of 2009 and continued the good results by beating Robert/Nadiezda. The pair to watch this year.

Cho Gun Woo/Kwon Yi Goo fighting neck-to-neck with Cai Yun/Fu Haifeng. Although the Chinese pair are pulling away now :)
No Malaysian MD involved here(The sole doubles pair had lost) so I'll just support CY/FHF for now :D

CY/FHF managed to shake off a slow start to win 21-17.
    Leading 15-10 in second set.
