Any updates on who has definitely qualified for the Olympics in each of the five disciplines?

More than confirmed ones, Border fighting always interesting ones.
If Bagas/Fikri qualifies means .. Will CBA tolerate on let Liu/Ou?.

If Bagas/Fikri qualification will put pressure on Satwik/Chrig!. So Satwik/Chrig don't like Bagas/Fikri to qualify..

Will CBA continue their confidence only on SYQ & LSF? or WHY replace any one?... As asked by other our member.
I guess WHY has chance over......, as he has better mentality & defence.

Anyhow CBA pushes to have 3 members in MS Top 16, like in WS, to take decision on 2 better MS selection, as they did in London 2012-WS omission of Wang S.

    WD: Competition between Indian pairs Gayathri/Tressa & Ashwini/Tanisha ?

    MS-
    Taiwan ..CTC Vs others?
Malaysia : Will get 2nd Entry in MS?

So many interesting points are there..

It is reasonable to assume CBA would like having 3 MS players in the top 16. In a rather expected scenario of NTY not being back to his very best immediately after injury, WHY is most likely to retain his spot in top 16. But that being said, in the next coming tournaments, I reckon LSF will prove to be a big match player, and seal his spot over WHY. Even not that, CBA would find it more to their liking if LSF facing the likes of KN, LKY, LCY, CTC, rather than WHY facing the likes of JC, AA, VA or even SYQ in r16 in Paris.

How does olympic seeding works again? There will be 16 seeds right? Besides the top 2 seeds that will get a bye in the following round, i doubt LSF or WHY will be able to get top two seeds even if they are selected. I think WHY last shot is to outperform LSF in the Asia championship

Doesn't look good for Toma Popov, but possible to leave the younger brother behind.

    MS : CTC's entry confirmed?.
WD: Ashwini/Tanisha got walkover in 1st round. Gayatri/Trissa have tough oppenents-4th seed in first round.

Now if Toma wins, does he any chance?.. If so, heart-break for Christo!..
Will Lin Chun Yi [TPE] reach Top 16?.. If so, that's better.. he can challenge/upset anybody in Top 15. His body/physique/height, similar to LSF, even slightly better..

WHY is not in. CHN already has 2 reps in SYQ and LSF.

France is the host. Do I understand right that both brothers are qualified for the Olympics?

Here's some insight, but no definitive answers: https://olympics.com/en/news/how-to-qualify-for-badminton-at-paris-2024

The host NOC is awarded a host country place, but if the host already has a player qualifying, can said host country place still take effect?

How they do it in Olympic tennis, for example:

    "Host Country Place

If the host nation is not represented in either singles draw, then the highest-ranked athlete from the host nation will receive a Host Country place.

Given we’re in France, who at the time of writing boast four men and three women inside the Top 50, this is unlikely to be required and will be reallocated to the next highest-ranked player according to the rankings." I guess if host country is not qualified by merit, then only host country Quota.. Here Tomo has qualified by merit already...
