I see England are sending out some different doubles combinations. Probably uplifted by the surprise bronze medal of the mens doubles at the Olympics. Good to see both Chen Long and Lee CW playing in this tournament, their first after Rio'16. Hope Chen Long is not too heady and still in cloud nine at the start of the tournament. i'm not sure who the weaker player is in that pairing but it doesn't seem to work or get good results. chang ye na could retire? otherwise she could be like ma jin and be used to bring up younger players? i don't see her paired with jung kyung eun again
Well, personally I think their results are pretty good, but I can't help but feel Lee SoHee has a whole bunch of talent she still needs to unlock, and Chang YeNa hasn't been able to help her progress (at least visibly).
