That is the team strategy for today. To let Wei Nan have a good rest and play tomorrow. Unfortunately the whole strategy just backfired.

Okay Indonesia won 4-0 over Hong Kong. I am sure they can win 5-0 today over Hong Kong. :)

Wow, I certainly didnt expect this
    (4-0 whitewash).
When I said it can go either way, I didnt expect to go to Ina way all around.

    But selfishly I am happy

This is what I hope so too. Everything has backfired for the Hong Kong team today.

And unfortunately my favourite XD player from Hong Kong couldn't even get a chance to play in this Thomas and Uber Cup 2016 edition.

Its very cruel that Beatriz lost 26-28 on 3rd set. That tie is supposedly goes to Spain, now its impossible that Spain can win any double tie.

Vincent Wong Wing Ki morale is certainly at its lowest now as Hong Kong just lost 0-4. He may not be so motivated to play well now.

The score 11-5 just proved that Vincent Wong Wing Ki won't be able to win today.

Team championships are a different ball game altogether.
A good start can raise the morale of all team members.
But a bad one can demoralize, no matter how good the player is individually as in the INA-HKG match.

Damn, that backhand smashes from Ihsan.

Truly my most fave from the trio : Jonatan - Anthony - Ihsan. Too bad he always has bad luck in terms of Draw on tourneys.

Denmark WD 1 just won their match. So it is 3-1 favoring Denmark now. Surely Denmark can win 4-1.

    Couldnt agree more uncle.
Historically Ina has long way to make recipe to escape in team events, although in individual events they are most dissapointed lately.

Anyway, good boost for Ina TC today, despite some tight moments in some play, they all won in straight sets. But this is just the beginning.

malaysia men team made to struggle the last 2 games.... uncles pair lost to relative unknowns....goh soon huat made to stretch 3 sets before giving malaysia a 4-1 win.....
its exciting to watch the young players of thailand, indonesia, india, korea even japan with their gambling habit.. ehem......but the future of malaysian mens badminton judging from the talents in this Thomas Cup edition...... pretty depressing
