M/Q Report version 1 (updated 12th February 2016) : http://bwfcorporate.com/documents/?type=tournament_attachments&id=2248 DRAW date : 23rd February 2016 Three of MS world's top-10 have been registered here, Lee Chong Wei, Chou Tien Chen and Kidambi Srikanth also some elite players in another four categories, Saina Nehwal, Wang Yihan, Ratchanok Intanon, Akane Yamaguchi, Ahsan/Setiawan, Chai B/Hong W, Tian Q/Zhao YL, Ahmad/Natsir, Liu C/Bao YX, Xu C/Ma J, Adcock/Adcock.
Also an impressive entry list but still not as impressive as the German Open. I'm a bit disappointed not to see Viktor Axelsen again and I still had a slight hope that maybe TTY would spend the week after the All Englands in Switzerland this year. But okay, the fact that I will have the chance to see LCW is compensating a lot. So fingers crossed he will not withdraw and make it to the finals!

OOPS,My Bad Bingjiao Bomb in Bottom Half 2nd Round encounter, face to face with Ratchanok 'May' Intanon.
looks like LCW has another good ride to final round, too bad for his compatriots which they gonna face some strong opponents in the opening round, especially Iskandar that gonna meet Srikanth in 2nd round...
So the defending champion KS has pretty good chances to go atleast to the finals!! Iskandar in R2 and CTC in SF are real battles though! This tourney can be a boon for SN to grab some good chunk of pts if every thing goes well she'll face WYH in the SF and if she manages to pull over finals will be easier against RI/PVS or SY!! PVS as always isn't very lucky a QF against RI should be a real test and she has to score good grades in that match for any chances at the OG
DRAW as released by BWF yesterday => http://system.bwfbadminton.com/uplo...AW (Updated Tuesday, 23rd February 2016).xlsx
Its a conundrum to relate the word 'form' with KS! You c he dismissed the 'in form' TS comfortably in Asain Championships and was smashing like a mad man! Then comes GO everything's going well and then he gives 'god knows' how many pts to allow NKLA to surge ahead in the tourney! Also I may not emphasize many other 'achievements' he has begged in his career!
Why LCW has withdrawn? LCW has the best chance to win a tournament in Europe without competition from Chen Long and Lin Dan here at the Swiss Open.
The competition is not from Lindan and ChenLong alone . So many good players are there who can beat LCW on their best days.
That's a shame - I was so hoping to see him live in the finals. By the way, where did you get that information from anyway?
I am going to explain something here to clear the air. This is important. I hope this there will be no more open discussion about why Lee Chong Wei with draw. Lee Chong is down with fever and flu before he came for the All England open. Since this is such a prestigious tournament, he has decided to participate despite not feeling well. The last match that he had to play at late night on the first round seems to have worsen his condition. Hence there was.a serious discussion and his coach decided that it is best to pull him out of the tournament since he is not feeling well. Please I hope this everything and I also hope that there will be no more discussion about his withdrawal after this. Thank you..
Well that explains a lot, thanks for the insight. Still I'm sad that I this stupid flu kills what is most probably my last chance to see him live. However, I hope he will recover quickly.
Wish LCW all the very best in his recovery from his illness and it is definitely a very big loss to the Swiss Open to miss LCW presence in the tournament.
