Points from team events are somewhat illogical. It reflects your own ranking points more than how you perform in the tournament. If your ranking points are high, you get a high amount of points for the tournament even if you lose every single match you played.
Jonatan is still 18, Ginting is 19 currently. They still need a lot more training, and exposure to a bigger tournament. But I agree that Ginting will have a better chance against Victor. Ginting's fast game is a bit similiar to Kento's which Victor has a hard time to play with.
