Anthony is always coming dangerously fast forward to the net; Momota has to stay back but then he's vulnerable to the block.
Since you like big serves, What about Pistol Pete/Big Goran before A-Rod or Karlovic/Isner now or mentally fragile Raonic in the future.... Raonic should have been a major winner by now with the game he has... Unfortunately he worships the Trivalry & Murray & Ferrer..... Too awed to beat his idols unlike the less skilled Nishikori. I liked Andy too, in the Pete-Rafa interregnum.... Then 10 years and 2 days ago Rafa kicked RF's ass and thats where my bromance (which was going nowhere) with Andy ended.
opruh Saina vs Shixian was a match worthy of a final. It was a beautiful game of badminton and could have gone either way. I am sad Saina lost. Saina can hold her head high for a good performance and she will come back strong. They have mutual respect for each other. Inspite of my sadness, I must appreciate Shixian's performance. She used some attacking smashes at crucial moments. She doesn't like smashing but was forced to do it. Her celebration indicated how tough the match was and how much this win meant to her. Hats off to her and well played Shixian. India only has Kashyap left. Given his mental frailties, it will be a great achievement if he wins tomorrow. Who will you support?
WSX and Chen Jin are both from JiangSu. Chen Jin are determined to send WSX to Rio. When LYB appointed Chen Jin to this position in Zhang Ning's stead, it was implied (perhaps explicit) that Chen Jin would prepare WSX for Rio. WSX (and probably the JiangSu team) felt that something was stolen from her/them in 2012. LYB, Zhang Ning and Sun Yu are from LiaoNing. It's open secret that Zhang Ning and WSX do not get along. Zhang Ning of course was not happy that Chen Jin took her place--she was demoted! This is a on-going battle between Chen Jin and Zhang Ning--within the much bigger war among the provincial teams. We will have to wait and see who will win at the end.
Agree with you, it's like a finals match, any of the two are deserving to win with their great performance. Kashyap defeated the number one seed here, hopefully it serves as a motivation for him to win his next match. For other half of the draw, my choice would be Zwiebler>Tago>JOJ.
Zwiebler should always play like this against the top players. He can't expect to get points through pressuring them in the rear court.
