Match Schedule for Today :

TV Court matches, court 1 :

Li HAN (CHN) VS Ratchanok INTANON (THA)

Can the only non seeded player make a upset against the 3rd seed? (45-55)

Yun HU (HKG) VS Srikanth K.

India youngster have my vote for this game to continue his fairy tale in this competition.

Sindhu P.V.(IND) VS Yihan WANG (CHN)

Yihan should cruise through with 3 game.

Cheng LIU/Yixin Bao (CHN) VS Danny Bawa CHRISANTA / Yu Yan Vanessa NEO

Hope our support at the home ground can make a big upset against the China team.

Mohammad ASHAN/ Hendra SETIAWAN (IND) VS Sa Rang KIM / Yeon Seong Yoo (KOR)

Game can go either way, hope Korea can make in through to the Semi..

Can I assume that playing on court 3 will be starting at 3.05pm???

Women's Single so far the most competitive as out of all 8 seeded players, 7 make it through to quarter. Only SN never make it through.

Interesting Game today.

LI XueRui (CHN) VS Tai Tzu Ying (TPE)

Hope Tai can make a beat upset against Li today, using her Taiphoon. :)
Definitely would like to see TTY make it to the final here once again.

DU Peng Yu VS SAI Praneeth. B

Will Du need to play another 3 sets to secure his win against another youngster from India? Hope to see a upset.

I'm sorry but I just checked with them.
The news is that it's not been decided yet.

If transmission starts at 5pm local time, then it should be court 1, because there is a break after the first match.

Court 1 Match 2 starts at the broadcasting time. It has to be the TV Court.

The match selection on Court 1 is also beautifully done.

Update:
Court 1 is indeed the TV Court.

This means Lee Chong Wei's, Du Pengyu's and Li Xuerui's matches won't be available on the live multi-cam broadcast.

Yes, court 3 will be started on 03.05pm same with court 2 ;)

MS, the king of Super Series Lee CW is on the way to make another final, who's his opponent in last round? Looks like Simon Santoso or Du Pengyu are candidate to going there.

WS, three worthed watching WS QF clashes today, 1 slot remains for KOR. Both Tai TY and Sindhu are hard test for top two seeding, will they upset the Chinese powerful WS?

MD, Ahsan/Setiawan and TPE MD have slight advantage to progress while two other side will be close matches

WD, two INA pairs meet elite combos, let's see whether they could spring surprise here

XD, the only hope for host SIN, nothing is impossible for Chrisnanta/Vanessa Neo to grab semis ticket

You're being polite there... the MS selection is a crying shame!
But the, there are a lot of other considerations (which have been discussed at length in another recent thread).

Yup. I hear you.

That's why I did not call it "the most excellent selection" but "beautifully done".

As Oldhand said in another thread about the selection of matches for tv court, i still wonder how come they selected matches in singapore open as Oldhand said that title sponsor does not have interest in selecting matches for tv court. Then who did it here..? just one line answer is enough ...

My two cents is the match will be over in less than 30 minutes and not worth broadcasting. No offence to Tanongsak's fans :)

No offense at all.. With the way he is playing nowadays, whoever meets him, they will be toast. If a player is able to get atleast 14 to 15 points against LCW, then he should be a good player. If the player is able to grab 1 game from LCW, then he must be very good player.. Because LCW is in extra-ordinary form lately.
