Only one title is sure in MO, that is MS does belong to Dato LCW :D and he's setting for his 10th consecutive titles... wow, a fantastic achievement!!

Oh man. BWF and bw.tv what a sad story. Well, the quality of the videos for KO and MO are good, but it takes hours until something is uploaded. Partly without commentary. Thursday still not available. No playlists with the different matches of each tourney.
Looks like they don´t care about bw.tv anymore. Such a bad service. I would like to pay for it if they could get things together, show in good quality, upload soon, more matches, etc. but the way it is handled for me it is a confession of failure to bring Badminton to the world.

The results also look boring except the MD win of Mas, so well I´m going to watch tennis...

Indeed, a magnificent comeback by WSX; to me, the best thing to have happened to WS badminton recently. I urge you to catch up on youtube those videos of WSX vs IR at the French Open '13 and the CHN Open '13 as well as her two matches with Porntip, wonderful to watch.

If WSX can keep her #3 position steadily within the Chinese squad, itself is already an achievement. But one crucial aspect to count is her effectiveness against the ROW.

If Wang Ling hadn't been injured, she would have been the real #1 in team China for year to come. I think she's better than all the current big three in team China.

The crowd was thunderous, similar atmosphere with Istora Senayan :D
MAS MD performed well, good fighting spirit, INA pair wasn't sharp as they did against Lee YD/Yoo YS and Liu XL/Qiu ZH.

    FINALS (01.00PM) => http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...3CB08F-376F-4268-BEDD-905EECF07145&d=20140119

Smart arrangement order of play by the organizer : WS followed by WD, MD, XD and last MS.

China has secured WS title and most likely WD. A very difficult task for Tommy to overcome strong fave Lee CW, the local hero will claim 10th title MAS Open.

Both MD and XD are two interesting clashes of 5 finals, who will win these 2 titles?

Thanks to the organizer for putting the MS last - it may be another , boring one-sided 'mismatch', an anti-climax, though I hope not.

Tomorrow, we are in for a treat. First, the WS Final between two of the very best with contrasting styles, expect a quality match of the highest order. Badminton enthusiasts and true fans will not want to miss it, except, of course, for 'those' player/nationality fans.

Second, for me, would be the MD between local heroes Goh/Lim and the CHN Chai/Hong, should be exciting.

Third, would be XD where old foes Xu/Chen and Fischer/Pedersen renew their rivalry, worth watching.

Fourth, the WD which I expect Bao/Tang to win out the JPN pair, still good to watch.

Good for organisers to put the 'very boring' WS as the first match. True fans know who is gonna do what . And also the funny thing here is that the person who calls others as "player/nationality" fans does not even want to see himself in front of the mirror.. Funny.. Oh oh.. May be he is talking about himself..;) No probs..

Exciting match which everybody wanted to watch will be the last one and hope Tommy will give a good fight against formidable LCW in front of his home crowd.

Will the malaysian MD pair be able to convert their first SSP final to title. Let's see what happens..

Looking forward to the finals tomorrow. Hopefully Tommy can give LCW a match, even though it's on LCW's homecourt. Also hope that WSX will be able to win this time around...
Does Fischer/Pedersens win make it 8-all between them and Zhang/Zhao?
A little bit funny how match ups has gone this tournament anyway... Xu Chen/Ma Jin "avoids" Zhang/Zhao and LCW "avoids" CL even though both these matches were possible finals.

Fischer/Pedersen are playing w/ Xu/Ma for the title; H2H is 5-5 I believe. Should be a quality match.

So my prediction comes true, and again its the money machine LCW vs TS despite the presence
of CL - only difference surprisingly is, its KT and not TS that ousted the remarkable LCW basher.
Good money again for the towkay LCW.

Yes great scheduling, it will be worth more than my outlay of RM35 - just hope the LXR /WSX
WS final is a real game and TS hopefully gives the towkay a good match in MS final.
The other matches will be a real dingdong and exciting for sure.

The LinChongwei channel has all SF except for Bao/Tang vs. Pedersen/Rytter Juhl I think.

Boss, better substantiate your claim with some proof or the CHN fans will jump on you but maybe some are more equal than others. :D

The outcome will solely depend on how well Pedersen's defence is and how smartly Xu plays.

And whoever wins the first game will win the match... their head to head record shows all their matches were 2 game affairs.

There is no need to fix that game, because WSX should be safely catch another final pass (she won all 8 meetings vs BYJ before)
