Chen Jin deserves full credit for bringing up the CHN WS to such a high level recently.

GC must be very proud being a member of the runner-up team, that's the highest achievement of ENG team after the reunification of world's badminton bodies! After that ENG not even come close to the medal zone.

Chen Jin is better than Zhang Ning as a coach.

I don't even know that GC is a good player.. I thought she was just an ordinary player and was hired for just commentating..

Personally, I'm also glad for Sun Yu winning her first world championship, going by LYB's definition which includes TUC, Sudirman Cup, WC, and the Olympics. I have a feeling Sun Yu will become LXR's archrival in the near future.

Which explains how GC feels whenever she sees CHN winning and winning, I guess.

WSX's 12-0 H2H shut-out against Bae YJ must be a record for any two top ten players, male or female, I hazard a guess.

Maybe Zhang Ning is the softy type of coach whereas Chen Jin introduces some hard steel into the training.

Got to admire Chen Jin for that. It's hard to coach people who were your team mates not so long ago.

Yep that's a staggering H2H record possessed by Shixian against Bae Yeon Ju and it's astonishing why Bae hasn't been able to defeat her despite having defeated all of the other top players including Li Xuerui, Yihan, Ratchanok, Saina, Sung Ji and the WJ champion Akane too.

Yes, where on earth was Chen Jin? The top three WS are all undoubtedly swifter and stronger under Chen Jin than they were with the female coach.

I must say that the Japanese podium was the most kawaii. ;)

Well, Zhang Ning has to take care of a young baby. Can't blame her too much.

Chen Jin thought about being a coach from day one, ie, before 2008 Beijing Olympics. I personally think Chen Jin is better as a coach than XXZ.
