The good thing is they haven't been training together for quite some time, so,hopefully, Chen Long can spring a surprise on Lin Dan.
LD V CL. I would expect this is a true game with some reserve (to protect from injury). The other possibility is that LD is instructed to let CL win. No the otherway round. So, if LD turn out to be the winner, he sends strong message to LCW that he wants this title. If LD is able to beat CL, it means he has recovered well (at least 85-90%). LCW knows well LD don't have to be 100% to beat him.
LD v. CL first game 5:5, very exciting!!! correct me if i'm wrong, but there is no need to comment on LD's ranking dropping down to 200 something because it's not an accurate judgment of how good he is anyway, so what are the commentators trying to say???
it's going to be a long game with both players prolonging the game with more consistent shots waiting for opportunity rather then playing more risky shots!
I just tuned in, but two things seem obvious: 1) There is a lot of well-controlled placement play by both players who obviously respect each others skills. 2) LD has a much better tan than CL.
Just as I thought. Anyway, there are all chinese players on court. How do the crowds divide the cheers?
