looks like INA and JPN dominating the AUS Open... Can't wait to see them playing in India SS and ABC event whether they are truly atrong and competitive...
i don't think it is INA fault if INA is dominating here. why need to wait till India SS and ABC? everybody know, INA badminton is declining since past few years [and of course, INA badminton will improve in next few years, just see ]
Cps/Gly took it in straight sets, good. Hopefully no serving error or any type of 'cannot close aft leading' disease in next match. They should take the chance to win a title here in the absense of the top 5 pairs
Don't put so much expectation on Nitya/Feinya first lah....they lost easily 10-21 in the first-set. I still maintain my prediction that the duo Luo will take the match. Meanwhile, it's all over for Vita/Nadya.
I have done a little bit of analysis. This the current points for these 6 WD pairs after the QF of Australian Open: 1) Cheng Wen Hsing/Chien Yu Chin (TPE): 55529.7 (if they lose to JPN @ INA in SF) 2) Jung Kyung Eun/Kim Ha Na (KOR): 53960 3) Chin Eei Hui/Wong Pei Tty (MAS): 45316.88 4) Valerie Sorokina/Nina Vislova (RUS): 45127 5) Vivian Hoo/Woon Khe Wei (MAS): 44866 6) Jwala Gutta/Ashwini Ponappa (IND): 44497 For now CWS/CYC, CEH/WPT & VS/NV will get the olympic spots. I think VS/NV will a least reach the final stages of European Championship. So their olympic points will increase to 47488.66. So they are ahead 2 MAS & IND pair. The draw of Badminton Asia Championship (BAC) is quite tough for MAS & Indian pairs and I doubt that they will reach the QF stages. So the points will the same as previous weeks. As for the Korean pair, although they beat Meliana/Greysia & TPE pair in BAC, Tian Qing/Zhao Yunlei will waiting for them in QF stages (I think CHN pair will win). So they still stuck below the TPE pair & not qualify for the olympic yet. So we'll have to wait for IND SS draw to be released. If Korean pair do not reach at least SF stages in India, they will not qualify for the olympic and two pairs (RUS, 1 MAS @ IND) will qualify.
