Strongly agree with you. Wang Xin has a better record against non- China oponents. ZYL need to focus on WD. So Ma Jin and Chen Xu is a better choice as they are more experience as well.

I've checked and it wasn't patented.

Still have 3 hours to go. I will go and pray for a good result.

May the force be with LCW and those that I support.

    I shall be back.

    here are my predictions....

Zhang Nan / Zhao Yunlei vs. Xu Chen / Ma Jin - probably a fixed match if played at all. logic say LYB will boost XC/MJ ranking as well as let ZYL rest of the WD match later on in the day.

    Wang Xin
vs. Wang Yihan - see above. Wang Xin will be a better candidate against either CSC or JS. it is so terrible that we are talking about match fixing as if it is the norm and acceptable.

    Lee Chong Wei
vs. Chen Jin - LCW should take this one. his mission is to end the match as quickly as posssible while CJ's mission is to drag it as long as possible. 3 games to deuce will be ideal.

Wang Xiaoli / Yu Yang vs. Miyuki Maeda / Satoko Suetsuna - the run of the JPN girls will end here. though heart wants them to win, sense says there is no way they can withstand the endless bombardment from the Chinese.

Ko Sung Hyun / Yoo Yeon Seong vs. Mohammad Ahsan / Bona Septano - tough one. i predict this is one of the best match of the day. right now my gut feeling says the Korean will have a slight upper head. we will see.

Chen Shao Chieh vs. Julien Schenk - i thin CSC will end Julien's run here.

Chris Adcock / Imogen Bankier vs Tantowi Zhmad / Liliyana Natsir - oh... home support seems to be rather crucial to their win last night. and with higher attendance during the weekend we will see no less of it. it will be another close match. i will take the home pair.

Tian Qing / Zhao Yunlei vs. Jwala Gutta / Ashwini Ponnappa - Chinese WD.. enough said... ;)

Peter Gade vs. Lin Dan - i am sure there are a lot of people who'd like to see PG win this WC. but unfortunately it is not realistic. he is among the top but will always be shadowed over by LCW and LD. and besides his marathon match last night he will have no chance against LD who has a pretty smooth sail so far in this WC.

Cai Yun / Fu Haifeng - Lee Yong Dae / Jung Jae Sung - another match of the day. i think the KOR will win this one. Cai/Fu hasn't been in top form as of late, but we will see.
