    The Koreans add another victory to their head to head record against Shinta Mulia Sari/Yao Lei by defeating them 21-17, 21-12.

    Mikkel Delbo Larsen/Mie Schjoett-Kristensen vs. Mads Pieler Kolding/Julie Houmann. Larsen and Schjoett-Kristensen are ranked 32nd, while their opponents are ranked 46th. They have never faced each other before.

    lol I apologize for messing up with the Court numbers. I assumed that the Courts are numbered 1-3, but they are apparently numbered 2-4.

    On Court 3 we have a FRA vs. TPE duel. The French pair is no. 39 in the world, while the TPE pair is no. 7 in the world and the 4th seed in this tournament.

    Fang Chieh Min and Lee Sheng Mu have beaten Careme/Grosjean once before, at the 2009 Sudirman Cup.

    The world no. 10 and no. 1 seeds Chen Hung Ling/Cheng Wen Hsing are playing Shintaro Ikeda/Reiko Shiota of Japan. The Japanese pair is ranked 19th in the world.

    Sadly, Firda has lost to Sung Ji Hyun, 21-13, 21-12.

    The Korean will face Tai Tzu Ying in the Quarterfinals.

    Simon Santoso next up on Court 3, vs. Sergey Ivlev from Russia. Second seed Simon Santoso is ranked 12th in the world, while the Russian is ranked 116th. Ivlev beat the much higher ranked Henri Hurskainen from Sweden in the Round of 64.
