So all China semis in WS, WD and XD as all of us expected. Specially in WS and WD cases, even if all the best play here (90% of WS best players are here) , China will have all China semis. THe source talent from China WS just keep coming and coming. After XXF, LL, ZL, JYJ, youngster WL, WYH, now they have Wang Xin and Wang Shixian who had done well in Gold Grand Prix events and now in SS event semifinal by beating top seeds. Wang Xin already knock off Zhou Mi ealier months, here she beat Tine R and PHY. Wang Shixian beat WC and WYH here.
One thing that people may not know is that LCW keeps turning up for all the tournament games because he has no one to train with in his own country. Hafiz and WCH are not up to the standard and they aren't good enough to help LCW to keep his form at top level and with the presence of Chen Jin and Bao Chun Lai, Lin Dan is a much much more lucky man. Another thing, there is a well-known rule within the Chinese team and is that if it happens to be a game between both Chinese players, the first set decides the winner. It means that the one who lose the first set will have to lose the second set and hence the game. Again, Lin Dan is a lucky guy compared to Lee Chong Wei. Also, if you take away the games that were played in China, Lee Chong Wei actually has better record against Lin Dan. Therefore, Lee Chong Wei definitely deserves some respect. To some people, please watch your language and do not speak as like you are a better player than Lee Chong Wei. Thank you.
1. hmmm, some boleh fans have said it's bad for lcw to play so many tournaments but u said it's good for lcw as lcw is getting real training abroad. 2. u seem to know alot about that chinese secret rule, can u explain to me why reality contradicted your claim? Bin QIAO [CHN] vs - [CHN] Huan GAO 21-18 18-21 19-21 BinQiao won 1st set but HuanGao won the match Chunlai BAO [CHN] - [CHN] Jin CHEN [2] 21-13 14-21 19-21 BCL won 1st set but JC won the match Jingru LIU [CHN] Cheng LUO [CHN] - [CHN] Junjie GUO [CHN] Gen LI 21-18 15-21 16-21 Liu/luo won 1st set but Guo/li won the match Wei YANG [6] [CHN] Jiewen ZHANG [CHN] - [CHN] Siyun WANG [CHN] Jinkang ZHANG 16-21 21-10 21-5 Siyun/jinkang won 1st set but wei/jiewen won the match Jin MA [5] [CHN] Xiaoli WANG [CHN] - [CHN] Jing DU [3] [CHN] Yang YU 21-19 12-21 12-21 Ma/wang won 1st set but du/yu won the match Long CHEN [CHN] - [CHN] Jin CHEN [2] 16-21 21-8 16-21 JC won 1st set but chen long forced a rubber. "if you take away the games that were played in China, Lee Chong Wei actually has better record against Lin Dan." you sure u know what you're talking about. Lets compare LD vs LCW of titles won outside their respective home soil. I will even generous enough and take out LD's titles won from hong kong open. Can u illustrate to us how lcw's record is better than ld? lin dan's record WC Singles 2009 Hyderabad, India Singles 2007 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Singles 2006 Madrid, Spain Asian GamesTeam 2006 Doha, Qatar Thomas & Uber Cup Team 2008 Indonesia Team 2006 Japan Team 2004 Jakarta, INA World Grand Prix Singles 2009 Yonex All England Open Super Series Singles 2008 Thailand Grand Prix Gold Singles 2008 Wilson Swiss Open Super Series Singles 2007 Denmark Open Super Series Singles 2007 Yonex All England Open Super Series Singles 2007 Yonex German Open Singles 2007 Yonex Korea Open Super Series Singles 2006 Yonex Japan Open Singles 2006 Chinese Taipei Open Singles 2006 Yonex All England Open Singles 2005 Yonex Japan Open Singles 2005 German Open Singles 2004 German Open Singles 2004 Realkredit Denmark Open Singles 2004 Yonex All England Open Singles 2004 Swiss Open Singles 2003 Realkredit Denmark Open Singles 2002 Noonnoppi Korea Open LCW record 2004 Chinese Taipei Open 2005 Denmark Open 2006 Swiss Open 2007 Indonesia Open 2007 Philippines Open 2007 Japan Open 2007 French Open 2008 Singapore Open 2009 Swiss Open 2009 Indonesia Open
cooler just like to show him that if you talk in this forum, be intelligent and factual... not just b.s...
Hmm.. ..cooler, choonie might meant LCW vs. LD's head to head record outside of China/M'sia. The stats you gave are individual records/titles, not necessarily their head to head records.
Hiyaa, at 1st I saw got colour2, I thought you giving analysis of QF matches. Rub2 new member, dont rub until bleeding
head to head is sometime misleading, the win or lose 5 years ago doesnt means much. important is the match in just over a hour's time and the record from now until 2012 london. i'm sure this is both of them aiming on.
- Yes, those are just records for our reference. Misleading? It'll be misleading if the records (wins or losses) indicate otherwise (not the actual outcome); for ex. it shows LD winning this yr's Swiss Open (where in fact, it was LCW who won). - By 2012, yes, whatever record from y'day's match til 2012 will not mean much as well.
