Starting off with 3 BD in QF, Msia end with only Ow/Yew going thru to Semi. Korea, Thailand, Indonesia each have a pair in Semi, very muhibbah.
PBSI youth team officials & coaches... Training a la soldier, but never send them to real battlefield, no good. Hopefully Pak Djoko will take serious approach on this. Although I doubt it. His hands are surely full of this latest stupid terrorist attack. For tomorrow, I hope: Febby can progress into final. It might be a little tough for Ana, but it's not impossible. BS, XD, and GS...ah, kaput already. The remaining Pelatnas rep., Angga/Rendy can beat the THA pair. Comon, INA boys & gals, you can do it!
Quite disappointed that Ulin/Berry lost in rubber-set to the top-seed Nevertheless, INA still has a rep in BD, with Angga Pratama/Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto facing Nitiphon Phuangphuapet/Tin D. Caballes in the SF tomorrow. I hope they can beat the THA pair for a place in the Final. Realistically, Febby Angguni also has a good chance of progressing to the Final. As for Ana Rovita, just play your best....you have exceeded our expectation in progressing to the SF!
good spot for those that surprise ratchanok lost,i can just tell u,her stamina gauge maybe just left 20% in that ws match, after that,1% left(to walk of court)
well... 2day matches alots of surprises. Most of the seeded players in the GS lost and some of the favourite are outof the tournament. Actually this AJC standard are slightly lower than the past two years. Maybe China and Korea did not send their best. Lets look at the tournament by country. Japan. Started well during the team event but most of the players could not continue with the pace. Their top players in GS,BS, and BD lost. Korea. Well missing out on their top player who are not here. Perforrmance was below expectation. India. An Improved team but still a long way to go. Vietnam. Same as India. China. Nothing exciting about this batch of players. Hope to see better quality at WJC. Thailand.Too much is expected of their top 3 girls. Ratchanok is good but lets wait for another 2 years and we will see.. Taiwan. An improved group but still not there yet. Singapore. Still very much the same.have to depend on import and this year they are not strong compared to last year. Indonesia. Surprise... Surprise.not doing well in team but better in individual. Malaysia. As a Host... they are always better prepared at the Team Events. Should have learned from the mistake 2007. Never over TAX on core players. Its is difficult to peak twice. This time the BS proved to be better than BD. The Girls are not better than the 2007. There are lackof quality in the MX and GD. GS has to be groomed.
for those that surprise ratchanok lost,i can just tell u,her stamina gauge maybe just left 20% in that ws match, after that,1% left(to walk of court)[/quote] Ya, I can testify to that. I was seated just next to the THA players and both ratchanok and also pisit were pumped out. Pisit was even seen almost vomiting after his tough 3 setter with Iskandar. I think he could have given Iskandar a better fight if he was fresh. I can understand that coaches want to give the players all the match exposure they can [ this applies to almost all the teams] but it ruined their chances of winning or progressing to the finals.
yes...indeed good job....if ina would expect good results from all the disciplines....surely the least expected is from GS....
no,i sit beside the media seats. hope all the bcer will say hi with me if u saw a man with white spect frame,a black cap,and a black camera
I went to catch the match this afternoon.. Tall guy Chopra from India was sitting next to me before his XD vs Malaysia but too bad... we got knocked out..
^ Sure do. When DLCW beat LD in Swiss SS, lots of people saw LD was so frustrated, but someone proposed that LD was just being generous. Everyone has his own way of thinking, right?
What if there are others wearing white spec frame, black cap and a black camera too? Wear something special then we all can recognize you... then we tap on your shoulder and say HI!
