    Taufik Hidayat (2004 olympic GOLD medalist),
    Lin Dan (2008 olympic GOLD medalist),
    Lee Chong Wei (2008 olympic SILVER medalist),
    Chen Jin (2008 olympic BRONZE medalist).
    All the semifinalists ever got Olympic medal..

    quite a lot, actually...
    'gado-gado' XD pairs won AE at least 10 times, seven of them were Ireland/England pairs before world war II. The latest was Billy Gilliland/Nora Perry (SCO/ENG) in 1985, according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_All_England_Mixed_Doubles_champions

    Pretty apt insight, madbad ...... :)

    Itt has to be noted though, that LCW is the only player we have that maintains a semblance of consistency right now. The spectacle is always on him delivering. The Malaysian media is pretty much unforgiving.

    Whereas Lin Dan and Taufik are both surrounded by World Championship/Olympic Champion material teammates. This probably gives them less pressure overall because even if they don't make it, their teammates will. Having said that, it is still very good to see them both winning the major titles convincingly.
