Why can't the MAS MDs be beaten? Or for that matter why can't any MDs be beaten? (the KOR MDs were beaten badly in front of their home crowd in KO09,weren't they? And they were ranked No 1).The MD title has been changing hands quite regularly and will continue to do so.Mog/Boe are dangerous because they are still improving and they think very well while on court.

yup, I saw it also, the net tape bounced. Actually I think CJ is lucky in winning the game. Sho Sasaki really improves a lot

CJ's back is his problem. I think sasaki took a toll on CJ. However, come tomorrow, if CH slow down due to his back problem, people would say CJ gave the match to LD anyway.

Why did the umpire not make the call immediately if he had seen it? Clearly the umpire hadn't seen it and allowed a player to be his boss. Why did the crowd boo if the umpire had made the right decision? There are many lousy BWF umpires;this is a good example of one of them.

coming to a court near you...
Certainly, the decision was influenced by CJ's reaction. On his part, you cannot blame CJ. Any player, when he sees the net move, is bound to question the validity of the shot that resulted in causing the movement. If the umpire or the net judge (who's in charge of that area of play) didn't see it, I'd say they're negligent. If they did and not react until CJ pointed it out, they're even more guilty. In either case if the video evidence (I have not examined it closely enough) shows net movement due to racket contact, it's a no brainer. However it's a split second judgement and CJ could also not have not seen it correctly.

As a player, it's the right thing to do.

I have watched the match between JJS/LYD and Boe/Mogesen. The word " BEATEN BADLY" was not wise to be used.
7-21 for KKK/TBH in the 1st game, maybe this word can suits them.

2009 All England MS Finals: LCW will defeat LD???

    .
Well ... It could be that LCW will defeat LD at the AE Finals today.
True ... LCW is usually the sole representative for Malaysia in most BWF tournament.

    Hmm..

    my 3 sens:
..i saw the video and incident..It was such a quick play that i don't think the umpire really noticed it, at least right away..The net movement could be due to either the racket or the shuttle hitting the net..Anyway, the umpire had to make a call based on what he sees, which was the net's movement..One thing i noticed though was Chen Jin's awareness of what happened..I think Sasaki reacted that way and took a while to regroup himself because, imo, it happened in such a crucial stage of the game; if it happened maybe halfway through the game, i don't think he will react that way.
