    ^^They're missing..^^

    ..the badminton pics....;)

No, but in earnest, the pics are indeed astonishing. They put everything in different perspectives. Even the opening ceremony pics look as good as the regular Olympics opening ceremony (hope they put it up on youtube). And the gentleman (Hou Bin), with the wheelchair being hoisted with the Olympics torch, what can i say, "simply amazing"...

    *thanks for sharing..

    Wow..

And there's Mark Zupan and Andy! I saw Murderball and seriously, that's one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. So happy to see them still competing!

    Thanks for sharing, kwun!

The sitting volleyball is so cute!

I think I was especially moved by the pic in which all the runners gathered around to check up on Holmes of USA after her fall and getting trampled.

Watched a few minutes of the Paralympics events..

..(was planning to share abt this the other day)..So, i was watching a few minutes of the recorded Paralympics events this past weekend, on one of the NBC channels, esp. the swimming and track & field events, and i was simply blown away at what those athletes could do. For sure, in the swimming event, with different swimmers having certain handicap in their physical body, one can't think of the importance of technique. For instance, there were swimmers without forearms and those without their lower legs.
So, for those who think swimming is "easy" as it requires nothing more than physique and/or great lung capacity, for sure they made what seems to be a challenge to our mind looks so easy/normal. They definitely made it look so effortless as if they're just regular athletes with no handicap.
