In lieu of Kwun's answer, according to FAQ [check here]
    http://www.badmintonforum.com/forums/faq.php?s=&do=search&q=attachments&match=all&titlesonly=0

and what I have seen posted, methinks go ahead with the highest size you can upload. If you are not able to upload initially, reduce and re-try.

Pardonnez moi, allow me to answer the first part:

Always take the picture at the highest resolution available to you. The rest is all processing from keyboard. The size limitations will be the available memory [cards], the speed limitation will be the compression engine [saving *.jpeg takes more time than saving *.gif]. The latest digicams have tolerable speed with jpeg compression and are ready to shoot the action immediate to your earlier frame.

As for the "technical, computer stuff," there are several photo editors, Adobe Photoshop being just one of them, that will reduce the size of your picture for upload or for electronic attachments. You may also want to try Picassa2 available from Google.

No question is dumb [ :p ], mostly the answers are, and the people who give them. I have learnt most things by asking. The last of your post, I cannot follow. Must be new language!
    Hope this helps.

Really great pictures, thanks a million, Kwun.

Too bad I only borrowed a point and shoot 3MP DC, so nothing compare to yours.

Jeff, Yves, Raphael (BP.com) and I (BC.com) sat across each other in the media room during the WC. while madly running around taking pictures and dealing with the tight schedules. the humor and friendliness made it much more pleasant an experience. i certainly look forward to working along side them in the future.

It was never easy to be a photographer. :) Especially if you are doing it for a living. Pro players need to thank them for making them look good in magazines and on the websites.
