Yeah Majunath had terrific sportsmanship even though he was losing badly, really outstanding.

To tell the truth, I was taken aback by her beauty every time she was in the screen. And the most weird thing is I am not able to remember her face, truly an apsara.

In the end, thanks largely to both Li Shifeng, the saviour, and Weng Honyang, the hero, who enabled Team CHN to successfully defend the gold medal status for the Men's Team.

Indeed, Li Shifeng and, especially, Weng Hongyang rose to the occasion and played a pivotal role in Men's Team CHN's dramatic victory after the initial scare when both their MS1 SYQ and their MD1 WC/LWK were defeated consecutively , landing Team CHN in a precarious position of a must-win third matchup.

To my surprise at first SYQ actually was on top of his game against LS, in a way showing glimpses of hs former brilliance, and was even leading by 5-points in G3 for some time before he started to go downhill to lose the match , much to his two courtside coaches' chagrin, I believe. Needless to say , SYQ's performance in the team event so far was disconcerting, to say the least. Seriously, it doesn't bode well for SYQ's Paris OG'24 quest.

CHN was very fortunate that Prannoy was not able to play yesterday otherwise it would be silver for them.

Malaysia very unfortunate that LCW was too old and retired otherwise could've easily won too

The lack of streaming here is bugging the bejesus out of me, no games on YouTube at all,
live coverage is just a live score stream from someone in Asia commentating within a wee box on screen

100% agree (though I know you meant it facetiously). I believe LCW on his day, even at age 35, still has what it takes to beat ANY of the top MS today, I'm not kidding. Yes, he actually did it in 2018, on record, beating none other than Kento Momota who won the WC that same year, in the MAS Open !

The level difference of LCW at that time compared to the majority of mens singles players nowadays is like night and day in terms of difference.
Level and standards having dropped remarkably in this digital age of nonstop social media/and other external noise.

Your life must be great for you to be so emotionally invested in a badminton tournament that you are taking no part in at all, my guy.
