China is sending juniors again this year... Interesting players from Indonesia. Malaysia sends HTH/TBH!!! FAINT!
Yes, China is not sending their best players to Denmark Open because they want to concentrate on the Asian Games. But I am sure you will still provide us with good photos, especially the guys in this forum want to see Wang Lin...
Anne and I will most likely not post any pics taken by us in the forum this year as we're badzine contributors.
?? ?? what? no pics, that's dissapointing .... can you post the link to the photos on the badzine site at least?
ok, great, at least we'll see them there then. hopefully the MAS players will do well so we get to see more of them. i presume they'll be showing it on tv in denmark, i hope someone records it because the quality of the coverage in denmark is always one of the best.
When we hear GOOD news we faint.. When we hear bad news we also faint... Basically we faint about everything.. Wah! This news must be faintingly GREAT for yannie!!
tan chun seang said it's 80% sure that tan boon heong won't come to denmark open as he will go to doha asian games partnering koo kien keat instead of chan chong ming! too bad... means hoon thien how won't come as well... grr!
what?? but they have 25 days between the DO and the AG. and that's if they reach the finals, otherwise it'll be even longer. i don't see why they can't compete in both, unless they don't wanna mess up the training.
they're all like that, don't want to come to europe... also the asian gymnastics teams... all preparing for asian games. :crying:
She's not playing. My guess is she's hoping for gold at the World Juniors here but the draw isn't out yet.
Yes. I, too, expected to see Tony and Candra team up again for Denmark, especially in light of the news that Tony has signed on to play with a club in Denmark. On the other hand, you can see Gunawan/Riyadi and Wijaya/Saputra in men's doubles. It just isn't the Gunawan or the Wijaya we expect to win. I find it interesting that so many of Indonesia's younger players are getting the chance to play in Denmark. If their reasons for not sending them to the big Asian tournaments are money and the risk of early elimination, then sending them to a 5* tournament in Europe is a puzzling, yet laudable, move. Perhaps they knew or guessed that China, Malaysia, Korea, and Thailand would not be sending their best(or any, in the case of the latter two).
Is China sending "juniors" or just second or third tier? 19- and 20-year-olds who haven't proven themselves yet? After all, their true juniors should be trying to conquer the world in Incheon next week.
