Yeah, I've been there a few times, it's awesome, better than any other I've been to before. 1) Great shop, sell plenty of stuff, even though a lot of the products are slightly more expensive. 2) Somewhere in this thread, a few pages back, someone ranked their training as a 1 (out of 5). What?! Seriously, look at this link: Of the members on the US junior national team, there are at least 4 that play/train/teach at Smash City. Coach Zhou Lili is currently (I think) ranked 3rd in Women's Singles, Lauren is ranked 4th (right behind coach Lili). Andrew is also up there in Men's Singles, etc. I can't believe they can find anything to criticize about the coaching there. 3) I wish they (and everyone else) would sell racket cases. Not racket BAGS, but cases. I need one. They sell all this other awesome equip though. 4) You ppl still play there on the weekends? 5) The flooring is great (no more slipping and hurting when falling), as well as the lighting (above the gaps between courts, not above courts), and the nets (always the same great ones, not like at other places), and the ppl (so many ppl...just wish I could find more of my level. Any idea when other high school kids play? Not the good ones of course, I don't want to get doughnutted)
It is quite busy on the weekends. Half of the courts are taken up for Smash City training, so it is hard to find a court to play on sometimes. The level of play there ranges from beginner to intermediate.
