ASY will win to any China WS now
But it’s not the key, China should be able to secure XD and MS at least and just get one more likely from WD or MD
ASY is Korean ace card right now though

I havent seen so much tension between two WD partners before. Even Zhao Yunlei/ Tian Qing with their love scandal love triangle with ZHANG Nan had less tension.

Exactly like the Gold Coast 2017 result. Insane how the JPN WD pairs just fold against Chen/Jia.

Kang Kyun Jin will stand on the other side tomorrow from the last encounter in 2017.

Will he be the lucky charm in these finals?

This tie should be the final, the tension, the drama, the spirit, the dominance, the twists and turns, everything everywhere all at once. I still can't believe LiuOu made it, and how ChenJia steamrolled FukuHiro like a SGP pair like that.

    Wonderful!

Japan never fails to find new ways to f*** up year after year, edition after edition of team campaigns.
HokiKoba, the heroes from yesterday turned villain overnight. Also, FukuHiro style of play is too traditional and outdated. These days WD are more dynamic, fast-paced and creative. Fukushima, especially, was content to just give away the initiative by lifting each and every service return. I literally wasted 5+ hours to see Japan lose.

Yes, actually before the tournament even started, I already had a thought that Korea would be the biggest rival to CHN to lift the trophy.

    ASY surely secures 1 point.
SeoChae improve a lot and can spring an upset anytime, if YaSi perfrom subpar.
MD should be a scratch pair (Kim/Na) and are very solid. Imho, LiuOu would be a better choice than LiangWang.
WD 50-50, it depends on Lee So Hee.

China surely will play Zheng/Huang. They are reliable to play at crucial moment. Unless they are injured so they couldn’t play today.
China will win from XD and MS, one more from WD I believe. But anything could happen.

Sad day for Japanese fans. Seeing tears from Fukushima is heart breaking. It's not only because they lost, but the way they lost the deciding WD match. Despite that, this tearful moment of Fukushima interacting/congratulating Jia Yi Fan was so beautiful.

Chinese MD back from the dead! Heartbreaking for Japan as they were so close so many times. But for the fans, it was full of exciting drama, back and forth gameplay and a worthy semi final to remember!

What a semifinal, Team CHN performing a Great Reversal in the 4th MD matchup, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat; when all seemed lost at 16-20 down, huge credit to both Liu Yuchen and, to me more surprisingly and more impressively, Ou Xuanyi, who rose to the occasion to achieve the near-impossible and kept Team CHN's hopes alive for the tiebreaking WD match.

The entire tie today was a rollercoaster ride for both Team CHN and JPN with the former eventually emerging on top in dramatic fashion.

I must add that Shi Yuqi deserves kudos for his remarkable victories so far, in particular seeing off both Anthony Ginting and Kodai Naraoka though not without some unsteady, even jittery, moments against these two tough nuts to crack, and that in a team championship where the added pressure the event imposes on virtually every participant is extra challenging, with few exceptions. It should bode well for SYQ going forward, I think.
