Let’s not forget ASY got a lucky walkover from Marin.

An entire match worth of saved stamina is a huge advantage in a daily match tournament and imo makes this win more likely to be considered with an asterisk.

should've put ws last and xd 4th. never really like a final from the same country being played last, the energy is totally different from the crowd as well compared to xd and ws match

Somehow the daddies are so extraordinary and full of magic when facing opponents from other countries, but looks are very relaxed when fighting their INA juniors.

Finally fajar/rian win the big one, WC next ? they're easily the favorite imo. I really don't think anyone can beat them when they're on top of their game, usually when they lost it's because of b2b tournament.

It's because they're being neutralize, all indonesia MD (especially fajar/rian, minions, daddies) are so good in the service situation and they're equally good in the flat game, but fajar/rian are simply younger and they're far more sharp since they're basically in their prime.

i love hendra's game and i think he's the best ever when it comes to racket skills but you're right, their match are usually boring unless they play the opponent with solid defense. that's why their "entertaining" match back then tend to happen against lee/yoo because the koreans could make the rally longer with their solid defense

Gotta feel sorry for Fajri , winning that way too. Just so different from the way Minions won it in 2017 & 2018.

I hope they can have the kind of ending in AG/WC

Hope its not the last time we see AhsanHendra. There are always risks that any of their last match ends with career ending injury. Just like badminton is such a physical sport and playing your 5th of the week after that double rubber isnt a good idea health wise at that age.

Hard to say, cause Kang/Seo and Liang/Wang, they are quite young and can still improve a lot while Fajri is older and probably near their limit. Seo is not young but his partner Kang is.

Chia/Soh is kind of young too,but I also think they are near their limit, but their limit is quite high already, could definitely challenge Fajar/Rian on their best day

Wait,I just realised Seo is also pretty young,in his mid twenties, he seems so much older though, maybe because he's been around for a while. So Kang/Seo and Liang/Wang both have that age advantage
