surprisingly i thought they were defending more than usual today, but yeah it could be different pressure when you're being targeted more in md. imo though the big difference between siwei and all these chn backcourt player is siwei can actually play the steady flat game and add some soft touch to it, which make me think he and his partner would take initiative more anyway, especially if he play with someone like liu yuchen who's known to be one of the best front court player in md as well. when was the last time he played md ? 4-5 years ago ? he has improved so much since then

Chen Yufei is playing too many high net-drops, which works best if the opponent thinks you're going to lift, otherwise , if executed too often, gives the opponent time to get the net shot back, sometimes with interest, I think.
