I really love the defense of Chae. She's not great at killing it at the net but to me she was better than HYQ today in terms of winning the initiatives.

Zheng played Md back in the day. Forgot who he was paired with but he didn’t have too much success. He should stick to xd because him and huang are unbeatable right and and it’s his best chance at gold in 2024

surprisingly i thought they were defending more than usual today, but yeah it could be different pressure when you're being targeted more in md. imo though the big difference between siwei and all these chn backcourt player is siwei can actually play the steady flat game and add some soft touch to it, which make me think he and his partner would take initiative more anyway, especially if he play with someone like liu yuchen who's known to be one of the best front court player in md as well.

when was the last time he played md ? 4-5 years ago ? he has improved so much since then

He's already had a few videos on badminton unlimited where he's speaking English. It's great to see more Asian players speaking English to make them ultimately more relatable and likeable, just like how Axelsen is popular in China.

ASY has improved and very steady.
If she plays her A game, I don't see how CYF can win.

CYF was lucky to get into the final because of AY's injuries.

2017 MO with FHF reached the Final that tournament - the only time i watch badminton live in the stadium it was LD vs LCW last Final in their career.

should definitely pair LYC with ZSW. He will get more recognition playing MD if he can win some titles.

ASY looked less agile than usual,
    sign of fatigue?

Chen Yufei is playing too many high net-drops, which works best if the opponent thinks you're going to lift, otherwise , if executed too often, gives the opponent time to get the net shot back, sometimes with interest, I think.

ASY's retrieving ability is near to Akane's level now...

an seems to be more agressive against tai yesterday, so far she rarely goes for 100% whenever she has the chance to attack. maybe it's fatigue

ASY legs look heavy due to fatigue, sure she will fight again in the decider though

ASY more proactive and playing at a faster pace than CYF, she's going to win

I remember when Asy and ay would make like 3-4 finals in a row. I wonder why so many of these players are so fatigued after one back to back. I feel players like Asy or ay shouldn’t play 300 level. Focus on the 750 and 1000s
