Thanks for the further info. And yeah, given the circumstances a certain upgrade makes total sense. IMO fixed clamps are a must if you want to take things seriously and to ensure consistent results up to higher tensions. Looking at the PS 9200, how is the overall state of the machine and what's the price? Or let me ask differently, what budget do you have in mind for your upgrade?
Budget: I'm not planning to buy a €10000 machine. I'm looking around seeing what is available on the market. Used and new devices. I live in Belgium so it ain't much . There is a babolat sensor expert mono. But it's a bit overkill for a hobbystringer I believe. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-T505 met Tapatalk
There are some really decent electronic machines available (new!) in the range between 1.000 to 1.500 EUR. For example: 1) https://www.tennisman.de/Weiteres/B...-SUPERSTRINGER-T15-LE-electronic-schwarz.html or 2) https://www.tennisman.de/Weiteres/B...hine-SUPERSTRINGER-T70-electronic-SE-rot.html So just make sure not to make a rushed purchase just because you think that there is nothing else available. And it makes sense to really think about how much you are willing to spend.
Definetly not in a rush. Just exploring the market. And looking at the machinery you guys are using. It's awesome looking at all different setups. I definetly will check out the tennisman website. I earlier posts I read some good comments about it and the service. Ty for the advice Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-A525F met Tapatalk
After all the great help and info on here, just thought I'd share a picture of my new Superstringer T15 setup. I've just been getting to know the machine and finally bought and installed the Wise this week. Really pleased with it, the process of stringing is so much more enjoyable now! I could never break the 40 minute mark with my previous drop weight and that was really focusing hard, but I'm down to 30 minutes fairly comfortably without too much sweat. I'm now really focused on improving my time (without sacrificing quality) P.S. excuse the horrendous carpet and decorations, we're due to renovate!!
Looks really good! And so great that you went for the green one! And I think that carpet has character!
Yes I really love the vibrant green and black combination. That's one way to politely describe the carpet!
Hi hn8790 Can you give me an estimate how much the t15 weighs (kg) without the floorstand. Grts Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-T505 met Tapatalk
The design of the main towers is different. They are angled outwards on the T70 and straight on the T80 which allows the clamps to move closer towards the mounting points. Shouldn't make much of a difference on badminton rackets though since they are mounted with a certain distance to the towers anyways. Everything else seems to be the same.
So the website says 29 kgs and having lifted the thing, it's certainly very heavy. If you need a more accurate measurement I can verify the website weight if you like.
Ty mate Also looking at the StringMaster deluxe. But apparently there is a Deluxe LE version. But also can't see how much they differ.
the website tells indd 29kg. But I'm allways a bit sceptical about advertised weights. It happened to me once I bought an item and mount sepperatly. On arrival the item was 6Kg heavier. The mount couldn't support it.
The LE (LongEdition) has a bigger baseplate so that the WISE is fully covered. Be warned that the machine is heavy as a tank (noticeable heavier than a Supertringer T15!), even as the SE version. If it's in the budget, IMO the StringMaster is worth the price adder compared to the T15 or T70.
Oh Yes, now I see it. According to the website the Deluxe and the deluxe LE weighs 24KG. The T70 is 29kg. So this isn't very accurate I suppose?
I haven't seen or lifted a T70 in person yet, but I owned a T20 (predecessor of the T15) previously and now a StringMaster Deluxe (short baseplate). And the StringMaster is clearly heavier by a couple of kilograms.
I've made up my mind and ordered a stringmaster deluxe. Thx s_mair for the suggestions. To illustrate: I went playing in my club yesterday. I took 5 rackets which i've restrung past days. I came home with 12 more. My wife wasn't all happy . Upside is I've got a new toy to play with. I'll share some pics when it's up and running. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-A525F met Tapatalk
With that number of jobs, it will be paid off in no time. Great choice, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
My new stringmaster Deluxe is up and runnig. And I must day it's a joy stringing on this machine. I'm still learning the machine but after 10 rackets it feels allready natural. My beloved voltric 80's got their first job and are playing like champs . Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-A525F met Tapatalk
