These work great! On Ebay for maybe 7usd and work as well as the 200usd scales my boss uses for WTA and ATP events. He actually switched to these and added a wire cable to his.[IMG][IMG]

Only strung a couple so far. Strung my first racket in 34 minutes. Second in 29 minutes.
Previously I would string in 35-40 minutes, 30 minutes if I really concentrate.

Looking good considering I'm still getting to grips using it. Are people doing 10% pre-stretch?

Congrats, that's a mighty rig you got there now! And seems like you already got the hang of it looking at those 29 minutes. :)

Regarding pre-stretch... some use it, some don't. You'll end up with a slightly higher effective tension, but that's basically it. Some say it reduces tension loss over time but tbh I haven't really found it to make a significant difference. Just try it and see if you like it or not.

Previously I was stringing a racket in about 2 hours and 40 minutes. I was really slow!

Didn't think about that! You are right! It was just extra paint I had and wanted to use it up.

This is awesome. I always wanted to make the wise do this since the day I tried out the Victor VE-80.

I actually disassembled the button made my own ghetto setup with Lego XD

That looks amazing. Can you show some more details on how that works? Maybe a short video?

I used some double sided tape to keep the sensor in place inside the box and attached to the side.

The long piece I used is a 1x6 tile. Any movement forward will trip the sensor.

That is fantastic! Really well done. I wish they would offer such a solution as an official add on. Without the Lego of course. :)

Yea I wish they made a addon with this functionality. This was a easy cost effective alternative. I would like to buy the one from taobao but i dont think they can ship it here

I had mine set up that way a while ago but stopped doing it. It makes inserting the string between the plates quite fiddly and it leads to the rollers blocking each other after a while due to the small range of movement. So not really recommended from my side.

And besides, it doesn't trigger the tensioning mechanism which would be the real improvement.

My new project. A little rusty, missing balls to adjust length for the frame, a lever was stripped, rails a little dirty. Tension on the high end good, low end sometimes pulls 6 pounds tight then returns back to set tension. Same as my last project sold for ¥240000 minus 10% and ¥8500 shipping fee.
