Yes, Koya is a good player. Needs to work on his net play and cut down unforced errors. He will improve with time and in 3 years should be an exciting prospect. I agree with your assessment on Priyanshu. He is definitely a talented player, needs to mask his disappointment when he makes an error. Once these guys improve their physical endurance and fitness levels, they will become solid players. In 3 years we are going to have a lot of good players! Let's hope they can become mentally strong. :)

Very shaky play by PR against Ansal 8-21, 21-9, 21-17. Will be very tough against beast HSP tomorrow.

Aditi Bhatt knocks out Akarshi Kashyap and tops group. Aditi plays doubles and singles, not clear what she is going to choose in senior level. Shruti Mundada tops group, age 27 is the oldest WS player in this tournament.

I think Aditi has chosen Singles as her main forte coz choosing one discipline that too in trials for Cups (arguably these trials are Aditi's most important tournament as of now). She has done well, won 2 matches. Would be interesting to see who her opponent will be in next rounds.

Is Ishan still playing with Tanisha in other tournaments? I can understand both of them are not playing in XD in these trials as they want to focus on MD and WD respectively. That pair is nice, I would like to see more of them in IC.

Players were not allowed to choose 2 events in this tournament. XD players will be selected from the MD and WD players who qualify. Yes, Ishaan and Tanisha still play XD together.

    WS QF
    Aditi vs Ashmita
    Tasnim vs Ira
    Riya vs Shruti
    Malvika vs Samiya

This rule is very weird. No wonder, we are so behind at doubles. Respect for Diju and Gutta who with minimal support won GPG , reached WTF finals in 2009 was it? And were 6th ranked. Say what any wants about Gutta, her outbursts were needed to show the true face of doubles condition in India. Yeah, sometimes her outbursts got too much out of hand hehe.

    Meiraba won Lativa

These juniors Koya, PR, Meiraba are talented hope BAI will help them train under good coaches and sparring, centralized training would be better.

Meiraba Luwang skips the selection trials to play his first senior tournament in Latvia. He is unranked and had to play the qualifiers and won the tournament.

Koya and Priyanshu get access to the best coaches and sparring partners. Meiraba has to make do with PPBA.

Koya needs to show more of these kinds of performances then we'll know it's not a flash in the pan kind of result. How did he play against Lakshya ? Haven't seen the match.

Some surprising results! Tasnim has exceeded expectations by reaching the semis. I wasn't expecting her to cross the group stage. She has a good attitude. Aditi is growing in confidence with each match. In 2019 Aditi was Junior No.9 in WD and No. 10 in WS. HS Prannoy lost to Kiran George in 2 games. Kiran has the habit of suddenly beating a good player.

    WS Semifinal
    Aditi Bhatt vs Tasnim Mir
    Malvika Bansod vs Shruti Mundada

    MS Semifinal
Ajay Jayaram vs Rahul Yadav Chittaboina
    Sameer Verma vs Kiran George

    MD Semifinal
Dhruv Kapila/ Arjun MR vs Krishna Prasad Garaga / Vishnuvardhan Goud
Sumeet Reddy/ Gouse Shaik vs Arun George/ Sanyam Shukla

@badmuse, even after completion of semifinals, I am able to see some lost players playing on all courts. Is that for position?

This appears to be replays of old matches. The matches for tomorrow and WD knockout is yet to be updated on the site.

No. It is not replay. I watched Satish kumar play. But in the Group Matches, he played only Sameer and lost.
But today he won in 3 games. So, this is definitely not replay.
I thought you would know some insider news. That's why asked

You are right they did have matches for the losers. Only some players attended, Lakshya, Akarshi and others left.

Tournamentsoftware is still not updated since yesterday. Loser matches also played on court today.
Anyone watch any matches today or yesterday? I saw the following.

Gayatri Gopichand/Treesa Jolly beat Shikha Goutham/ Ashwini Bhat
    Malvika Bansod beat Shruti Mundada
