    One acronym for you:

    Sweet spot increases
Quite better than an oval racket
    Unlike any other conventional racquet
Accuracy is better in an Isometric racket
Raises the sweet-spot coverage for more consistency
Evidently, Iso is the way to go :)
    :p

    how big is this smaller?
how big a difference is the size of the sweetspot on the iso head compared to the oval one?

    ovals for advanced players

ISO's are understandably more popular since they look more "hi-tech" and allows the user more room for error. However ovals can deliver more accurate and powerful shots if the shuttle contacts with the sweetspot.
My verdict therefore is that with the right amount of skill, the oval is a more potent weapon in the court.

With the right amount of skills, any respectable racquet can be lethal:p. Oval frames just look so much cooler and elegant.

I love oval head, also like 10mm longer racquet...now I love my Cab30MS a lot...very, very great smash power if you can hit on the sweet spot. Let's say, Cab30MS is an "oval head version" MP99.:D

I love my cab20original and cab30ms. Oval all the way for me =)

I might bet an AT800 Def down the line since I play doubles so much though :p so there goes my cab series lol.

Peersonally, both are OK!! However, I prefer ISO more than Oval. Moreover, most of the latest Yonex rackets are in ISO form... kind of used to it by now. Though I still play with my vintage carbonex 8 occasionally!!:p

    Based on my experience:

+Ovals: better racket speed, more power, better/longer lasting grommets from a stringing perspective

+Iso: bigger sweet spot, less stress on the racket frame (usually less shared grommets), more overall hitting surface

    Hello, Madman,

How about the Cab.30 Muscle ? It seem like the frame is less oval compare to others carbonex. It seem like same design as the Wilson N-Code 90.

Hello Sir, I'm not too familiar with the Cab30 but am getting one on Monday. :D

But you know how the saying goes, "I've never tried a Cab I didn't like." :p

I liked oval for it's power.
But recent new racquats are mostly isomatric.
And it's power improved a lot due to new techs applied.
Therefore, I like isomatric more now.

Using ISO's for the last year or so.................played with only ovals for 12 years previously. no preference really but I feel that slicing is better with an ISO
Power wise I don't really think there is a big difference, I found when using ovals I like lower tensions around 20lbs but with Iso's i like around 22-24lbs.

Iso's i think have a softer feel than ovals and the sweet spot is larger but not as intense.
