Wow, Howard's facial expressions after the match just said it all. Congrats to them for creating history and for reaching his badminton goal.

Simply amazing. Now, is the next step gonna be seeing badminton in the NCAA????

Gratz to the US. Well. I guess it truly is better that the USA won because sparking an interest and causing more badminton players to arise and increasing the skill level of the current players is more important than having the oldies win hehe :p. The badminton community knows who the best players are anyway. As long as we expose others to the sport, it'll be good to get the name Taufik, Lin Dan and everyone else out there.

I'll bet Google will notice a gigantic increase in people searching "badminton" or "world championships" the next few days lol. I just wished that googling badminton would bring BadmintonCentral as the first link lol and I also wished that googling badminton images would provide better ones than the ones we already have.

Hmm. Maybe with the USA winning, Google searches of badminton will drastically improve. I dunno! Anything can happen!

So with all that's happened (ie. comebacks, multiple partners, playing with a 'novice)...is there any possibility of naming Tony the best mens doubles player in the world ever?!

Hey Kwun. Maybe you and the gang should have made some signs saying badmintonCentral.com lol. I'm sure that would have brought some interest to the crowd. sorry I didn't think of it earlier.

Yes Tony well today but he also made some crucial unforced errors that coulda cost them. IMHO, I think Howard deserves some major props for hanging in there with the big boys and coming out as a great champion.
